Married, Single, Other

That's how I read it too. I also thought that maybe Eddie and Abby could have a thing going in season 2!! I just thought his relationship with Gina paternal!

I think there is one more episode. Agree it was quite moving last night. It's not a perfect show but I like it and have watched every episode. I hope it comes back, ITV should have some faith in things, sometimes they take some time to find their feet.

Can someone tell me what happened to give Lucy Davis that bruised eye? I saw her walk out of the police station I think and up to a man - but did she just get walloped in the face for no reason? I was only half watching and I thought she hit him! I may have missed that bit - but it seemed it wasn't explained. What was her job supposed to be?

I couldn't watch this because I thought it would be too British and trying way too hard to be a bit edgy and totally unrealistic - nice of me to decide all that already but from all the clips, interviews and previews it seems a fair conclusion. Question is was I wrong?

Also the other main reason i just could not bear to watch was Ralf Little cast as some wideboy?? And we weren't meant to believe the blonde one from Spooks fancies him?? Whilst I do not dislike Little I just couldn't suspend my belief enough for this for a whole series and thought it would bug me too much to watch. again , was i right or should i just forget all these preconcieved ideas and watch it ! lol

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series - tonight was so moving I broke my heart

I have to agree that it has all seemed pretty rushed. Think this week should have been about her breaking the news to her children and frienRAB etc and slowing it all down

It's got a good cast, so it might be interested.

Plus, it's filmed in LeeRAB giving it a tremendous 'That's my bus!!' factor for me.

That occured to me to - but I kinda hope not - it would almost be like her friend would be betraying her, even though she's not around anymore.

It didn't seem too bad, certainly watchable. I'll see what next week is like I think...

It sounded a bit like Adelle, don't know what song it could be though.

I thought it was decent enough, but nothing special. Bearing in mind it was the first episode, and first episodes are notoriously difficult to get right, I think I'll give it another go next week, but it'll need to improve for me to watch any more after that.

I think all 3 male leaRAB are attractive, and I'm surprised that everyone thinks Ralf was miscast, he seems perfect to me. Neither do I think he and Miranda are mismatched, in fact if the rumours of the gossip people on GMTV are correct, they are now a real life couple.

The acting tonight was great, particularly from Joe and the teenagers, who have been fantastic all the way through and utterly believable.

I couldn't stop sobbing when Lily wrapped up the 18th balloon in her memory boxes and kept crying almost the whole way through, particularly Babs song, in which I was wailing like a baby. What a lovely voice she has.

I really hope they do bring back a second series, but if I'm honest I'm extremely glad we don't have to suffer any more of Lucy davies who I just can't take to.

I also hope the writers learn not to signpost things so obviously.

The Shaun / Lucy character story held this together, but thought it a little obvious what's going to happen next. (Maybe I'll be surprised)

The bit that I thought was really outstanding was Shaun with the old lady who had fallen. It was really well written, and had me alternating between laughter and tears.

After that bit, I thought the story held it's own. It is a bit difficult to get used to Ralf Little in anything other than Jonny & Antny, but I'll give him another week.

It was very dull to be honest. Also i'm surprised at the lack of diversity in the main cast.

From the first episode it's hard to tell where exactly the series is going..granted first episode but if this was an episode to entice...wow failure!

It wasn't original and the 'cleverness' of some of the characters annoyed me a bit (does anyone in real life speak like that?!) but it was light, fluffy and enjoyable. And it's miles better than the rest of the majority of programming that ITV have been churning out lately, so it's something I'll encourage :D

I think she works in a battered women's shelter. The man was a husband/partner who turned up at the shelter after his wife/partner until Lillie called the police to report his violation of his restraining order. I think she saw him hanging around again and went to confront him, and got smacked in the face for her effort.
