Mamma Mia!

I couldn't get in on Tuesday - so I went yesterday afternoon thinking it would be quieter but it was another sell out! I did manage to get in though and it was much better than I expected! :) 8/10

strangely i think there is demand because of the dvd sales i think some people who waited for the dvd are also going to see it at the cinema ...if there wasnt demand they wouldnt show it! ive a feeling itll be on release for a while yet!

Well, the film version IS about an American girl with an American mother who has either an (a) American father, (b) British father, or (c) Swedish father.. :D

Granted the film version did sway from the original play version of the main character being British, but it is what it is... ;)

I saw the show in New York City and in San Francisco. I cannot imagine your experience being better (or worse) than mine. Just a different cast.

I cant wait for the film!!

Hmm, okay then. Well they should have made that more obvious with like glasses and windows shattering when they started to sing, and maybe all those extras prancing about in flippers could have put in ear-plugs instead.

They could have afforded some comedy special effects like that with the money they saved in not having to employ any scriptwriters.

At the end I was thinking Bjorn and Benny would be spinning in their graves (if they were dead) and then I saw THEY ARE NAMED ON THE CREDITS AS BEING INVOLVED IN THE PRODUCTION!

It's a shame, they must be really hard-up.

I haven't seen the film yet... I bought it for my wife on DVD but we haven't got round to watching it.

We did go and see the Westend show a year or so back so it will be interesting to see how it compares. The show is excellent BTW if you get a chance to see it!

Going for the 6th time tomorrow to another singalong, we're dragging along my friend who's seen it 3 times frienRAB. I'm still as excited as I was the first time lol.
