Mamma Mia!

sorry didnt understand the question?....its showing in cinemas till thurs 20th november! well have to see whether its in the cinemas after that date and when the dvd is launched next monday! time will tell!

Watched it today and it was brilliant. :D I didn't have too much of a high expectation going in because i didn't enjoy the stage version that much but i was pleasently suprised at how enjoyable ithe film was. All the Abba songs are stuck in my head now. My frienRAB and I couldn't stop singing along to all the tracks.

It is similar to how i much i loved 'Hairspray' which came out around the same time last year. Definitely my favourite film of the year, so far.

9/10

Finally went to see the film last week and I loved every second of it . Am I an ABBA fan yes very much found it a bit weird hearing other people singing ABBA songs to start with then just got into it and enjoyed it for what it was. A FANTASTIC FEELGOOD FILM.
When we left the cinema it was pouring down but we hardly noticed because we all had smiles on our faces. As for those who think they are too young our group of 15 included 50 year olRAB:oto 12 year olRAB infact it was the 12 year old who lead the clapping. If you are looking for a life changing film don't go see it if you just want to enjoy a couple of hours away from reality go and enjoy. Can't wait to see it again:)

I'm going to see this tommorow. I'm looking forward to it :D I've loved most of the films i've seen this year so thats a good sign :p

This is largely lost in the cinema.
Still, it is rather fun and there are precious few adult movies you can say that about recently. :)

Why not? Steven Sonderberg was nominated for best director of 2 movies in 2001 (and one of them won!)

Hm, when are those awarRAB?

I believe they're going to offer 2for1 tickets to see Mamma Mia until it's released on DVD, in a bid for it to top Titanic. Only certain cinemas are taking part, I saw a sign at our one :)

I'm hoping so as well.
As long as it isn't cut from cinemas entirely, it may still last the distance.

Regarding QOS, if you look at the Box Office Data for Mamma Mia!, it was taking 6-8m each week for its first 5 weeks, and as we know that didn't let off for AGES afterwarRAB. The fact that QOS took
