I don't see how people are saying that the N73 smokes the N80. Are you bananas? Where is the WiFi? Where is the high res screen? The lack of joystick alone is a big bonus for me, and I have used both extensively.
Granted, if all you care about is the camera -- that's another thing. Overall, I think the N73 can't touch the N80. It was an issue with the battery life, but I can say with confidence that the newest firmware update has resolved this matter.
I guess in the end, its what you intend the use the phone for. Many people don't think of WiFi has a killer feature, for me it is. A lot of people listen to music on their phones; I'm an occasional music listener (I rather turn on the stereo in my car).
I found the N73 to feel 'cheap' to be honest. It didn't feel as robust in my hand as the N80, and after a month's use of both ... I felt that the N73 would be the first to break; feelings that were validated when our mobile shop started getting N73 with numbers that would creak, joysticks popped off, etc. Yet to receive an N80 with a hardware problem.
