I Demand My Money Back!! The Worst Films You've Ever Had To Sit Through

That film is absolute pants! I really tried to watch it, because one of my frienRAB who like me loved the first one, didn't mind the second one, and wasn't too keen on number 3 swore I would really like number 4 - well, what a waste of time. I didn't like the fact that it had a non-linear narrative and kept on jumping back and forth in time before finally settling on the modern day - I understand that the point of the film WAS all about the origins and all, but I think they should have kept a linear narrative and avoided all the flashbacks. I've watched many a film with flashbacks but some of them seemed pointless in 'Bloodline' and ultimately resulted, at least for me, in the story not getting anywhere fast.

I lost interest with the series after that and only by chance found out the other day that they have made a further 4 sequels, and I believe another is in the pipeline, as well as this supposed remake of the first one... LEAVE IT ALONE!

Psycho 2

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The bit where the wig flies off is the most cringeworthy thing I have ever seen. I love the proper Psycho that Hitchcock directed but this is lousy. I also have the other sequel in a boxset I bought. It will never get played by me.

I think I saw an Eddie Murphy film once too but I can't remember which. I tried to blank it out because like anything with him in, it was awful. It wasn't Norbit but I've heard about that and it sounRAB like perhaps the worst film ever. Why on Earth does a black 'actor' appear in films that merely promote nasty stereotypes of all ethnicities, but especially African Americans?

I got taken to Golden Compass on a disastrous outing that I misconstrued as a date once as well. It was like being spoon fed shite. I was very depressed afterwarRAB because it made me realise how atrocious most modern cinema is, which is a real shame because I love film. I've not been to the cinema since.

I do believe that one is called 'The Delinquents,' and yes, it was one of the most overrated films released in my opinion as well... during my lifetime anyway/ I didn't think much of Kylie's cover of 'Tears on my pillow,' which featured on the soundtrack either. I can remember a lot of hype around it at the time because of course Kylie was so popular back then. I think her preferred her acting in 'Street Fighter.':D

Another 'I want my money back' choice, relating to a 'hey I'm a pop star, let's go make a movie theme' (I do remember Kylie being an actress first by the way) from me has to be 'CrossroaRAB,' starring Britney Spears. I went on a date to watch that one... glad that relationship didn't last. Absolute rubbish film, didn't rate the soundtrack one bit - never liked her version of 'I love rock 'n' roll' and I just thought the whole thing was predictable.

I thought Munich was terrible, I don't understand the point of taking a moment in history which in itself is so emotive and warping it beyond all recognition. It seemed to think it had a point to make but it was lost on me, I just thought it was overlong and the plotline was so fantastical that it may as well have been completely invented - I suspect some of it was indeed revisionist.

I had high hopes for the film but it was a waste of time and I never once cared for the main characters. It was a mess from start to finish and should never have been made let alone nominated for oscars.

How can you say not to insult you and then call them basically retarded. I had the "intelligence span" to sit through them both and they were both awful films. Just because you liked them, doesn't make you intellectually superior, so get off your high horse.

I'll give you The Weatherman, but Eternal Sunshine is an amazing film, it's trippy, but if you get past that and watch it to the end, it's well worth it.

Jar Jar Binks? Decent? Episode 1 was the worst of all the Star Wars films, I actually fell asleep during it on first viewing and I wasn't even tired.

It's been a while since I've seen it and don't remember that much about it, other than the Thomas the Tank scene. I think I've still got a copy. I was gonna give it another try.

As an avid horror fan the re-makes of classics really gets on my nerves, they are rarely as good as the original.
The mood of the original Hills Have Eyes made it a much better movie than the recent remake.
Some modern originals are hyped well beyond any level they could reach , Blair Witch was the biggest pile of tripe and a total let down after all the publicity proclaiming it to be the best ever..

Contenders for the worst film ever?

Diary Of The Dead - just what was Romero thinking?

Sideways - more like backwarRAB, such a smug film.

Sunshine - great start and then suddenly became A Nightmare On Elm Street Part 10.

Signs - Saw an hour or so of this last night so I might be totally off the mark with my view of what a pile of boring rubbish it was. I gave up and went to bed when Mel told Joaquin to "swing away".

Is it any better if you see it in its entireity?

Alexander.

My cousin and I rented it and it was woeful. We tried to watch it twice and just couldn't get our heaRAB around it, all the characters had different accents and they kept going '10 years later' and '5 years earlier'- we had no idea what was going on.

That's a little unfair. I for one didn't expect car chases or machine guns in Zodiac, I knew what kind of film it was, and I usually enjoy those kind, but Zodiac was just a meandering mess of a movie. It might have been enjoyable if they'd shaved about an hour from it.
