I Am Sam - where Dakota Fanning's character gets taken away from Sean Penn's at the end and they won't let go of each other, and the social worker turns and asks Michelle Pfeiffer's character to help her and she says no. that whole scene makes me tear up. Especially since we couldn't hear the dialogue and it was just music, it made it more powerful.

I remember that scene from Love, Actually. His character broke my heart so many times in that movie.

 Hee! It's a slow movie for sure, but the ending with Rorschach is really hard hitting and worth it!

I hope you had a great time, BTW! :glow:

I loved The Wrestler and wished that Mickey had won the Oscar (Even though Sean was fantastic as well in Milk)...

oh that was so sad!

Dear John when [sp] his Dad is dying and he comes to his bedside :bawl: I have a hrd time crying in the theather but this almost did me in.[/sp]

The Wrestler - (SPOILER ALERT) When he misses the dinner date with his daughter; when Cassidy calls him a "customer" and basically shoots him down one more time. The entire film was heartbreaking, but it was those glimmer of hopes that came crashing down that hurt beyond belief. What a freakin' performance by Mickey Rourke.

Love Actually, this guy was so in love with his best friend's girl. and she came over as a surprise to see his footage of her and the best friend's wedding, but she saw it was all shots of her. so she figured out he likes her. if you watch it yo'll appreciate it better :P

Fox and the Hound:

Young Tod: Copper, you're my best friend.
Young Copper: And you're mine too, Tod.
Young Tod: And we'll always be friends forever. Won't we?
Young Copper: Yeah, forever.

Rambo: First Blood - When Rambo's talking to the Colonel about Vietnam and how his buddies died.

I hadn't cried like that in years for a movie. I was sobbing when I got home.

Lucky you rockstar that you had a chance to see half-blood prince!

I'll have to wait till the end of next month to get on DVD! :(

Titanic - Rose trying to wake Jack up by telling them there is a boat.

is really heartbreaking! forgot to mention it! :D

i gotta agree with |My Girl| i remember the first time i watched it i ran to my mum because of the bees and when i seen Thomas J in the casket i bawled for hours and still tot his day have to skip past that scene

Titanic - First, i cry when all the people are dieng on the last couple of seconds before the ship goes down! Second,When rose & jack are on the door & saying their "Goodbye" & she lets go & he drowns, Third when everyone is back & rose is reunited with jack! I cry so much during it! :(

-The Lion King - Most saddest disney movie ever, watching it now when im older & scar killing mufasa & simba being there like "Dad..come on wake up dad" its just soo saad!

-Moulin Rouge - Bawled so much during the ending, when she dies in his arms! :(

Aww, I heard nothing but great things about Marion in Nine. :sigh: Everything else about the movie though, I've heard opposite.

Another moment for me - in Brokeback Mountain, when Jack says to Ennis, "I don't know how to quit you!" And when Ennis finds their shirts at the end.

Little Women - Beth saying goodbye to Jo telling her she felt left behind but now she's the one going ahead.

The Crow - Sarah trying to find Eric telling him she thought he cared and then he appears in the window saying he does care.

Titanic - Rose trying to wake Jack up by telling them there is a boat.

Romeo and Juliet - Mercutio's death/ Romeo and Juliet's death

Armageddon - Harry says goodbye to Grace, she tells him she is proud of him.

A Walk To Remember - Landon tries to ask his father to help Jamie and Jamie falling into her father's arms.

My Girl - Thomas J's death and aftermath.

Man In The Moon - Court's death.

Marley and Me - Marley is put to sleep and Owen Wilson's character tells him how much he meant to their family.

O - Oden kills himself.

Tuck Everlasting - Jesse finds out Winnie died and visits her grave.

Brokeback Mountain - Ennis holding onto Jack's jacket, crying.

The Green Mile - John Coffey is executed.

The Notebook - Noah's letter to Allie.

I watched Watchmen on my honeymoon and fell asleep---maybe I should have stayed awake for it!

That kills me everytime.

Some of my others are

Finding Neverland When the living room transforms into Neverland. I cry every single time

A Walk to Remember Basically the entire last half of the movie from when Jamie tells Landon she has cancer to the very end.

Nights in Rodanthe When Adrienne is waiting for Paul to come visit her after he returns from helping at his son's clinic and instead of it being Paul at the door it is his son Mark. You just knew what had happened.

The Notebook When older Noah is able to bring Allie out of her dementia for just a minute after telling her their love story only to have her "disappear" again.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End When Will is killed aboard the Flying Dutchman and becaomes it's captain. Even with all the little hints throughout the movie it still hurts to see that happen

I love A Love Song for Bobby Long.

My Sister's Keeper - The whole thing really. But that shot of Kate and Sara lying on Kate's hospital bed with Kate telling her it was going to be okay nearly broke me.
