The complainers are wrong. They can't accept a company wanting to branch out. Besides, with BCI gone, Funimation is now the main video arm of Navarre. I honestly expect them to announce the He-Man and She-Ra cartoons (a BCI release) during this roll-out now.
I am, too. Slowly, but I'm starting to like it a lot. Things like Sentai and Tomica Hero and Kamen Rider got me interested. At AWA this past Septeraber, I visited two video rooms the most: the anime room that was next to the main video room (where I watched Rin, K-ON!, and Detroit Metal City), and the live-action room (DMC and 20th Century Boys 1: Beginning of the End). If I didn't watch 20CB there, I would have never bought it until I read the manga (which would have been a while). There's some good movies, and I may visit it more when I go back there in Septeraber. And, I'm glad that Funi is going after these movies. I'll take a shot at them, along with Viz's and Media Blasters' libraries.
I do want anime, though. And, if they managed to snag Xam'd Lost Memories away from Sony CE/PlayStation, it would trump anything else announced during this event. What would be better than Dragon Ball Kai or Summer Wars? Being able to legitimately own an anime that's only available to rent off of the PlayStation Store.
