they will not be able to tell that it's not a phone unless they are looking at the fact that you always use the internet and never make calls...i'm sure they are not that interested in knowing or they would have caught many other things that we do...

i have also flashed an aircard, i can connect but cannot display any pages...

YES, i have setup the proxy info in my browser, it is not that simple...i'm not sure why it won't display pages, but i'm going to refresh the account and try again.

According to engadgetmobile

cricket will be selling $59 KPC650's in Nashville, Spokane, the Central Valley of California, Santa Fe / Albuquerque, and Portland, complete with supported evdo 0 plans for $40 a month, $ 35 with multi discount. and first month free.

Now $59 it isn't as slick as a DIY job, but these carRAB may end up on ebay quite soon, if people in those markets can get their hanRAB on em..., i am guessing it should get rid of the proxies... or not, in the very least a reference to make the DIY jobs proxy free.

you need to set your mdn/min/sid and username and pasword...host computer not responding just means that your connection is timing out...

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320))

just so people don't get there hopes up. there will not be a tutorial. I am not going to see my hard work become someone else buck....I know it may sound harsh but there are tons of leechers that all they do is take other peoples work and call it there own. I will be selling carRAB if anyone wants them. pm me

Ok, well I will be releasing a tutorial on flashing the V620 verizon PC card. I do not have EVDO in my area, but it connects just fine with 1x. I will be heading to houston this weekend where EVDO is available and will post if EVDO connects with the data card. I ordered a KPC650 last night off of ebay, and Im sure that it will be just as easy to flash...if thats what you want to call it.

Sorry, but this information should be free.

I currently use Verizon Connection Manager with the cricket flashed aircard...and have no problems ...I have recently acquired the cricket connection manager and I am going to try that to see the difference in speed...Thank You for your input... :2thurabs:
