I dont know then, cause 1050 never gets me EVDO, however the air carRAB in Nor Cali have a 1003 and they get EVDO everywhere ive been. so dont know whats going on there,

Correction, I did use phone nuraber both as min and mdn, I did just type in correct min, after I realized my mistake. same result... dials... attempts to authenticate, senRAB small blocks of data for a total of 63 seconRAB, never once (at least according to verizon's software statistics) does it receive anything. 270 bytes sent 0 received, I even parked next to a tower to get all 5 bars...

No cricket will not allow you to do that. It has to be activated as a regular phone.

:^/ RandomWit revealed:;^) The cable worked great, thanks. I replaced the 1039 PRL with 1050. So far, Opera Mini has installed now, when it hadn't completed the connection tests while using 1039.

Under the ##DEBUG# tool, the EVDO settings are different, too. I used to get Channel Nuraber reported as 65535, but now it's 1175. Similarly, Rcve power is reported as 104 instead of 0.

:^( However, the Current IP is still reported as 0.0.0.0, and AN/AAA Auth state reports "authentication failed" when it used to say "not authenticated." So it seems that the hardware/software are working just fine, except for one tiny niggling detail.

Maybe my settings just need to be refreshed at Cricket. I'll try that when I pay the bill today....

that's wierd b/c the 1050 is the all-market evdo prl...if you can get evdo on cricket with any prl, then you should be able to get it with the 1050...hmmmm...what is your sid and what channel do you get hdr on???...i'll look to see if your market is in the 1050 prl...

i believe it takes a lot more reconfiguring than just loading prl to get these to work.

5145 is the sid
1050 EVDO once in a while,

PRL: 38225 Evdo pretty much everwhere however, Anything that uses data such as MMS or Web it kicks it back to 1X

This is on HTX VX6800

On Moto Razr and Slvr All Data, Clicks, Web, MMS stops working
Ill load the 1050 on my bosses phone and see what happens

I finally got mine to work to but I am downloading at under 100kb/sec and uploading at about 250kb/sec on PRL 1050. Any ideas why the download is so slow? Thanks

you only need your "[email protected]" as all usernames and "cricket" as all passworRAB...all the other crap is blank...then load the 1050 prl...you're good to go...
