Films that make you cry

Toy Story 2:o

The bit where the little cowgirl doll gets left at the side of the road.

It's the only film that really gets to me. God, it's pathetic!:o

E.T
The Champ (1979)
King Kong (1933)
Marley and Me.

i had a lump in my throat for the final 20 minutes of Marley and me it was almost unbearable.

That Twilight/Oceans 11 soundtrack is good I am in SUCH an emotonal mood - sometimes you like the way music makes you get that way - 'Everything I Do' is good too (Bry)

The Kite Runner is the latest film I watched that made me well up.

Along with Mississippi Burning and Schindler's List - I think any films that depict ethnic violence can be really heartbreaking to watch.

Ah yes...that film made me cry too!:o

I've just realised that I've cried at loaRAB of films...most of my favourite films are ones that have moved me emotionally.:o:o
Titanic
Atonement (the only time I cried during a screening at uni...its when you see it a second time that you realise how unbearably sad certain parts of it is:cry:)
Godfather Part 3
The Shawshank Redemption
The Green Mile
Stand by Me
Good Will Hunting
Gladiator
8MM :o

I also nearly cried at This is It the other week- when he sung I'll Be There I suddenly felt really emotional for some reason, and I wasnt even that big a Jacko fan!

Oh...and I had tears in my eyes for the little dog when I saw Rear Window earlier on but Im blaming illness for that!:p

E.T
Field Of dreams
the green mile

and agree

Home alone, not when he meets his mum, but when the old man makes up with his family

So many films set me off..... most notably

Girl Interrupted - Especially the final scene where Susanna is leaving the hospital and she is talking about the frienRAB she made there and she says "Some I've seen, some never again, but there isn't a day my heart doesn't find them." I proper cry buckets, especially as I can identify with so many of Susannah's feelings throughout the film.

Never Been Kissed - Two parts that get me the most is when she has a flashback to her first school prom and getting eggs chucked at her and also at the end when she's waiting for Sam to turn up and he says "It took me forever to get here" and she replied "I know what you mean."

Life is Beautiful - I think I basically cry all the way through that one :o

Evita - when she's dying
The Elephant Man - the end - and it being his choice
Carrie - there was never really any other outcome for her
Gone With The Wind - the end of part 1 (not only do I feel her sense of utter rock-bottom loss and new resolve, but it is realised in perhaps the most effectively 'epic' dramatic way of all on-screen time)
The Wizard Of Oz - Over the Rainbow (everything about the tragedy of Garland's life is just so tied up in her image there on the screen at that moment)
