Films that make you cry

Seriously. The night before Diana's funeral Mr V bought me a bottle of wine and some new jammies. "You'll be staying in then?" Oh yes, I was a weeping mess of chardonnay, fleece and Thorntons that morning.

One of the all time great weepies must be Love Is A Many Splendoured Thing with William Holden and Jennifer Jones.

A classic in more ways than one.

Keep plenty of tissues handy when you see this one.

:cry::cry::cry:

I cry at smulch very easily. Top wail films though are Schindlers List, Goodnight Mr Tom, Atonement, Elephant Man, Field of Dreams, Ladyhawke........

The films which usually make me cry are:

I Am Sam I just am inconsolable during most of this film!

Lars And The Real Girl For anyone who hasn't seen this I'll not spoil the ending but it is so sad and romantic for such a strange subject for a film

Seven PounRAB/Pursuit of Happiness/I am Legend - Should have warnings on them, I don't think I have ever cried as hard before! I look a state by time I left the cinema after these!

Harold and Maude One of my favourite films and just gets me everytime

ET Cliche I know but I just can't stop myself!

Watership Down/Bambi/Dumbo/Beauty & The Beast Just a few of the cartoons which reduce me to tears.

The Elephant Man - I can't even watch this anymore it is so upsetting to me.

The Green Mile. I well up whenever I hear that old song in it from the film he watches. 'Heaven, I'm in Heaven.......'

Also The Talented Mr Ripley, I still argue with my Mum who we feel sorry for, Me (Tom) and her (Dickie)

The last scene breaks my heart.

I've seen MJB about 6 times over the years, I know it inside out, but still cry bucketloaRAB when it's time to go.

The Elephant Man, wonderful movie, brilliant acting, and heartbreaking to watch. I forgot about that one.
