Don't Tell The Bride - BBC 3

It doesn't always turn out perfect as an earlier poster said...

... there was one bride who hated the dress and would not wear it (see dress mess on youtube) and in fact I remember another bride whose fiance had a dress made for her and it had a burgendy coloured trim on it that she hated so she had to have a new dress too!

There was a bride who hated the vegas girls that her husband had at the reception and there was also a bride (think the same one in dress mess!) who hated the can can dancers that her hubby arranged!

.. lets not forget the one whose husband forgot to arrange a car to pick her up - she was livid!!!!

It's a good program though and I am looking forward to next weeks! Looks like a good one!

Check out youtube for clips of the brides who don't like it!!

MeeleyMunch- I agree with you!! I once saw an episode in which the bride had a scrapbook since the age of 12 of weddings dresses she loved - and yet the groom still didn't know what she wanted?!?!?! Do these people not talk or communicate prior to the show?? Although I think that the voiceover just adRAB drama and a story because 99% of the time the bride's are happy with the dresses etc

Oh but they do a show called The Bride's Revenge where you get to see the bride's talking about what they REALLY thought of the wedding and whether or not the relationship lasts.

The thing is, on your wedding day, most of the bride's are going to be so happy they're getting married and so happy that they're finally getting to see the groom again that they're not going to be TOO picky about the wedding. They don't want to kick up a fuss in front of everybody.

But on The Bride's Revenge you get to see what they really thought and you see the bride and groom together talking and reflecting on it :D That show is the best part of the season lol.

I'm sure Lottie loves her sister exactly as she is and would want her to be comfortable on the big day. And to be fair, she would not have looked good in a dress, and would have then stuck out like a sore thumb.

It was a lovely episode though. I was filling up every few minutes. *is wimp*:)

What's in it for them appearing on the show?

From what I can see it's their own money, they don't get any help from the BBC (it's all fly on the wall stuff) and they don't get a present or a prize at the end.

Why would you put yourself through so much angst for 60 minutes on BBC3??

Or am I missing something?

The editing is very false on this show now, so I wouldn't believe for one minute he only just made it in time.

He was gorgeous though. He looked like Michael Weatherly out of NCIS. :D

He mother was a miserable c*w though.

I love this show :)

The bride in the most recent episode was a complete bitch! I was shocked at her behaviour in the wedding dress store. Being rude to the poor woman who was trying to help her (and who had given the groom a really good deal on the dress) and having a tantrum and throwing the shoes about the place. What a nightmare.

Mind, the groom wasn't much better spending a fortune on a five day stag do while arranging something for the bride that wasn't even organised properly and cost a fraction of the price.

Most of the brides get livid or really upset about stuff in the run up to the wedding, especially in the hours before the ceremony but as soon as they get to the church or wherever and see their fiance they forget all about it!

Aww i really liked the winter wonderland wedding :D seemed like a lovely couple and was nice that the wedding was different but everyone really enjoyed it.

First civil ceremony next week...
