Thank you Quinie, some common sense at last!!
I cannot believe the flack that her sister has received on here. I thought she was SPOT ON. Full marks for her for putting her foot down and not going. That deserves respect rather than ridicule. You could see that she was genuinely aggrieved that her brother and other family members would not be able to attend. The poor girl was in bits.
Some of you seem so over-awed by the bright lights and big city glitz of Las Vegas that you'd have jumped on the plane and said that she should be grateful for the trip.
Maybe it's me, but TBH Las Vegas is probably the last place on Earth I'd want to get married. Surely the groom must have known this about his bride? I mean, come on! They must have discussed weddings in the six years or so they'd been together, certainly since the engagement?
IMO, the groom just wanted a free holiday with his best men. As she said, maybe they are better together? What is it about some guys these days and all this hugging and acting about like girls skipping off to the park? "Love ya mate!" Come on, act like adults. I'm a year younger than the groom and I'm best man for a best friend from school next month. We're not all over each other like boys on a bouncy castle. I would never dream of behaving like these two, let alone on camera. Am I a generation behind in a younger persons body? Is it me?
As for the bride, well more fool her for going. She deserves everything she gets from him.
I thought her sister was the only one with any morals and guts. Plus she was hot!
