Don't Tell The Bride - BBC 3

you know, i have a theory.

Women are blind when it comes to weddings. You see it every week on this program.

"I hate such and such"
" if i dont have this it will not be my dream wedding"

And EVERY single time, they end up loving the dress, the venue, everything. So it leaRAB me to conclude that they simply get carried away with the emotion of the day.

I thought she had quite a manly walk when it was saying about how they met lol :o seems like a nice lass though, so I hope she gets a good wedding. So happy she got the church, I teared up a little when her sister was crying in the church :(

This whole episode has been like a train wreck lol but what a surprise she does agree to marry him in the end

the bride came across as a right selfish mare when she demanded another dress and more money

Thank you Quinie, some common sense at last!!

I cannot believe the flack that her sister has received on here. I thought she was SPOT ON. Full marks for her for putting her foot down and not going. That deserves respect rather than ridicule. You could see that she was genuinely aggrieved that her brother and other family members would not be able to attend. The poor girl was in bits.

Some of you seem so over-awed by the bright lights and big city glitz of Las Vegas that you'd have jumped on the plane and said that she should be grateful for the trip.

Maybe it's me, but TBH Las Vegas is probably the last place on Earth I'd want to get married. Surely the groom must have known this about his bride? I mean, come on! They must have discussed weddings in the six years or so they'd been together, certainly since the engagement?

IMO, the groom just wanted a free holiday with his best men. As she said, maybe they are better together? What is it about some guys these days and all this hugging and acting about like girls skipping off to the park? "Love ya mate!" Come on, act like adults. I'm a year younger than the groom and I'm best man for a best friend from school next month. We're not all over each other like boys on a bouncy castle. I would never dream of behaving like these two, let alone on camera. Am I a generation behind in a younger persons body? Is it me?

As for the bride, well more fool her for going. She deserves everything she gets from him.

I thought her sister was the only one with any morals and guts. Plus she was hot! :p

What's Four weddngs? To be fair to the BCC "Don't tell the Bride" is very cheap television.

This week's bride shocked me and I refuse to belive she is 21! Her face didn't move either.
I thought the groom was gay at first too:o

I do like this show but a lot doesn't add up and I doubt the man is in charge as claimed.
Quite a dull opening episode in my opinion!

The groom was a selfish idiot. He wanted what he wanted, not what they, not just she, wanted.

If I was her I'd have married the best man. He knew she liked sparklies when going out, when the groom didn't, and he warned him against both the trip and the dress. Plus, good singing voice.

She doesn't love the dress this time :p
I'm sure they'll figure out something to keep her happy though, I do agree that everything always turns out fine in the end.

I just wish her sister could have REALLY made her day by wearing a dress instead of a suit... so she is gay! so what... its a dress... do it for your sisters day rather than standing out like a sore thumb!! Annoyed me that she had to bring her sexuality into the day... :(

Ive been reading the comments on here that have been made about the sister
I havent commented on here as yet, but because she seems like a key topic then i will

Her decision was very heat of the moment and she was just in making the decision. She was making a statement. She didnt think it was fair or right that she should be going to the wedding of her sister when their brother and the grooms sister was denied an invite.

The decision not to join the rest of the wedding party on the plane to Las Vegas must of been an incredibly painful decision to make. She obviously wanted to go and see her sister get married but she had strong feelings as to who should of been there and if they werent invited then she felt she ought not go
