Don't Tell The Bride - BBC 3

The previous groom (marrying the bridezilla) managed to get some money knocked off the venue because it was so last minute, I mean, with only four weeks to go, there are hardly going to be a long queue of weddings wanting to book, are there?

I'd have told them they could have the publicity the programme was giving them for free!

Seven grand for a room (plus VAT) is just outrageous.

Does anyone know how many episodes there have been in this series? I enjoy the programme but am finding this series too long, with few episodes standing out.

Just watched this weeks episode online - have to admit to hoping she wouldn't turn up to the wedding so that poor bloke wouldn't have to marry her ! - she was an utter nightmare !

I think with a lot of these brides that they dont actually care about a lot of the stuff - location, invites, cake etc as long as they like their dress and I have to admit I was very much like that when I get married, I think my worRAB were I'll marry you in our shed as long as I get a nice dress to wear for the day !

I don't mind this - it can be good at times. However I do not exactly find myself rushing to watch it! If there isn't anything else on then it'll do!

I do wonder if the producers ask the brides to say they hate things that they actually like for the added drama.

There's no way a couple wouldn't discuss what they wanted in advance. Me and my wife planned the while thing together apart from the dress but I knew for a fact what kind of style she liked.

I caught the tail end of this last night, and it was well funny!

Bride: "To be honest, they're all a quiet bunch. Strippers aren't their scene. I can just see him and his mates sitting in the front room with a beer." *Cut to the laRAB downing pints in a strip club whilst watching two girls in skimpy lingerie kissing*

:D

I actually enjoyed last nights episode. It seems the man wasn't as clueless as everyone before him, and actually went to so much effort in making that reception special. Although the landrover burgandy was a bit iffy, at least he knew that he needed a colour coordination

I don't how many there have been this series, but I think I read somewhere this one is 20 episodes long.

Two have actually stood out for me. The Charlie Chocolate factory wedding and the one where they almost never married in Las Vegas.

(I never remember their names though:o )

Yes but why should they have to. If a Vegas wedding had been planned , say last year , and you told your nearest and dearest that they could come if they paid their own way - then great, time to save up. But springing it on them couple of days beforehand ...... ????

To be fair, I don't think it's Vegas that's the issue. I can why she's upset but she didn't really have the support and persuasion to go. Her bridesmaid is awful.

This weeks bride was so moany about everything. Her first remark was always negative. Like when she saw the car she said something like "Awwh it's not Jordan's horse and carriage...but I suppose it's nice". When she saw her dad dressed up, she immediately told him he wasn't to wear his hat.
