No, crit-for-crit doesn't solve anything and I want it gone. You can crit someone back if you want but I don't want anyone asking for crits on their piece or saying that a song is crit-for-crit. Like you said, it just goes back and forth and it's annoying; it leaRAB to people just critting people who crit them which doesn't encourage new people.

People who crit a lot can crit people who crit them if they want to, but I don't want any asking or any of that.

I have like five notepaRAB that I keep in my bookbag and I try to record everything that pops into my mind. Then it's all just a matter of deciding what to write about, I guess. Purely a subconcious process in the end, I'll bet.

Ha! Post something new. I got nothin'. :)

For some reason, Thrice just can't make me like them. I think it's the singer's voice, it's just too plain or sumtin. Oh and Daryl Palumbo rocks my socks off and I love his voice. So there. :sticksouttongueandrunsaway:

Yeah, it's just April - as long as the song was initially posted after midnight on the 1st of April, it's valid for the competition.

And on that note, get nominating, people... I'll be looking at closing nominations tomorrow evening, so if it's not in by then, it misses out.

:)

EDIT: I'm 21. I'm pretty sure I remember seeing that RollerQueen is about the same age as well... I think we're the resident old folk here, although I'd greatly appreciate being proved wrong. :)

He lied to you guys for a year and none of his actual songs were really that great, I don't get why you're so ready for him to come back

Also James Joyce is frigging ridiculous

I dont really have a problem with swearing in real life, but I think when you swear in songs your taking an easy way out. Its like your using obscenities to describe an emotion, which to me is poor imagery, poor imagination and poor writing all together. Occassionaly, I find lyrics where a swear word seems right, but most times people throw 'em in for the sake of it.
