Me too! Do you think any of the miners will be given sedation before they make their ascent?! Surely they should, so they don't start to panic with the claustrophobia they're sure to experience!!

Absolutely riverting TV.

I am not ashamed to say I have shed a tear or two this evening.

I would love to stay up until every person is above ground but my bed is calling out to me and with an early start in the morning I need to get some sleep.
 
Part of me thinks that the broadcasters are hoping for a glitch...extra drama...do you know what I mean.

It made me laugh too. This is as real as it gets. It could be argued that televised news is the only true reality TV.

I have enjoyed the last 24 hours of the coverage. The Chileans have an optimism that is alien to us in this country.
 
Think some will be given some form of sedation. I presume that this will be assessed when the paramedics go down. It will probably those in the 'middle group' who have already been assessed as being somewhat vulnerable. They can't afford to have someone going into full panic mode whilst in the tube.
