I do agree with some posts criticising the blanket-type coverage on programmes that normally deal with all types of news stories but I felt the BBC got round this very well by having the full coverage of the rescue on the BBC News 24 and have the usual news coverage on the Breakfast and other news programmes on BBC1. It was extraordinary and amazing to watch; IMO it was an event like 9/11 but with a happy ending
Wasn't it really sweet when the President took a call from our Dave Cameron. It was like he (Chilean President) was just sharing the news with an old mate. Very touching and all very exciting.
The irony is, that she isn't very well is she. Maybe the sight of all those miners has done her in. Perhaps her present situation is the beginning of the end.
