Perceived value? By that logic, if the grocery store started giving everybody free milk forever, there would be an increase in perceived value and an increase in customer satisfaction. However, the price of all the other groceries would increase dramatically to make up for the free milk.
People who don't drink milk would complain, "But I don't use milk. Why don't they give away free eggs? Why should I pay more while someone else gets a free ride?"
Some would say, "That's discrimination against the lactose-intolerant."
A channel is a product, and isn't free to Bell. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that Bell pays the channel people based on the number of people subscribed to that channel.
My original point was that it may not be cost efficient for Bell to bundle the two packages together, or to simply add it in to a News & Learning package.
No need to apologize, haystack, but thanks, anyway.
