I need more music like this. Some ridiculously catchy songs from the original Blues Brothers.

Big beats + metallic riRAB + quickfire hip-hop-styled vocals = awesomeness

As I've said before, despite the slightly dated production style, this is some essential dancehall reggae.

It's not really an album but nonetheless... The Smashing Pumpkins American Gothic EP is a freaking wonderful collection of four really nicely penned songs by one of my favorite songwriters. Love it.

The new Teenage Bottlerocket is giving me a boner, you really can't go wrong with good Ramones-core. Great hooks and catchy lyrics: The most fun I can have in 30 minutes with my pants on

What a shame the Manic Street Preachers lost their edge...

I think tonight I am going to listen to an assortment of new downloaRAB I have completed in the last few days...

damn yeah i meant Antenna. Antenna was the RCA one, then they got dropped, did a record on HH in 2005 and not a peep from them until a couple of months ago, when they released an EP.
Why not, could do with some schooling on classic metal/mathcore, all the names you mentioned keep cropping up for me

Miles Davis - Round About Midnight

These last few days I've been listening to a lot more jazz than I usually do, so a bit of Davis is kind of a given in that respect. Just the kind of smooth, groovy and nicely lively stuff that it's great to listen to at this time of night.

Divinyls - Divinyls

Decent enough album I suppose. A few parts of the album try my patience a little, and it's not as consistently interesting as its followup Underworld. Still nice enough as an unabashed pop-rock album though. Plus it's got 'that song' on it, which is hardly a bad thing.
