Arab on Radar - Yahweh on the Highway

Opening with a "sometimes, I just gotta jerk off!", this album is filled with absurd sexual vulgarity. The guitars are purposefully crude and grating, using minor seconRAB and sloppy picking topped off with some ugly distortion. The disgusting imagery blenRAB well with the awful clashing of **** on ****. A great album if you're bored with music or life in general and need to throw up some frustration and inability to achieve your most basic goals. It only seems necessary to end this synopsis with a simple "**** you, **** yourself."

Favorite tracks:
God is Dad, Semen on the Mount

Dinosaur Jr. is a great choice

A concise album. I was never too fond with the order they chose, but I still enjoy every song on this album the same way I did many years ago.

I wish I could repeat myself but never sound redundant like these guys do. I'm also really into their new album that leaked, but I figured I wouldn't say that until it officially comes out, ha.

I grew up on Ochs, and I always keep coming back.

Forest for the Trees

One of those random albums I picked up at the used book store. Popped it in, and it instantly felt like Beck making trip-hop. A bit of research, and apparently he was actually involved in it. Just some diverse, top notch trip-hop. One of my favorites in the genre I think.

These three kick ass when I'm in a melancholic mood like I have been.

This is a hell of an album(s). Overlong, sure, and I don't dig it quite so much as London Calling, but then again I could say that for most albums I've ever heard.

Living In Fame

^ As if by sheer coincidence, I've probably had that album for that amount of time too. I made the mistake of buying the CD when I was just finishing high school, back when my only experience with Mike Patton was Faith No More's the Real Thing. My little mind was officially blown!

Took me years to summon the nerve to give it more listens, and I'm glad I did - it's a great little album.

Glad you like it. It's also home to the song I named my LastFM account after. They have some other great albums, but to me they don't really vary so much musically between them, and the debut there's probably their most consistent effort too.

That cover IS scary.

Been diggin' Christina Aguilera's Bionic recently. It's surprisingly good despite a great deal of songs being dedicated to Christina's pussy cat.

Bad Brains - Bad Brains
I forgot how freakin' awesome this album is. I've grown to love the reggae tracks that break up the hardcore punk onslaught a lot more since i bought this album a few years ago. I used to skip over them but then i came to realise their genius and how they compliment the punk tracks by using moments of calm to make them louder and more pronounced, while also reinforcing their Rastafarian beliefs. Essential Stuff.

Blondie - Parallel Lines

Another album i haven't listened to in a while. It's my mum's 1978 cassette and the sound has deteriorated slightly, but their sheer pop genius shines through perfectly. It's one great song after another.
