God damn it. And you don't see why it's obvious you don't know what you're talking about yet?

Do you even know what the word investment means?

Can you really not see how the government spending money on infrastructure, and funneling it into its own economy is different from you buying ass dildos or whatever you would spend it on?
 
Now you might ask what right of it is theirs to take tax money and do this, well that's a complex point, its part of the social contract, but you might think that the current understanding of that contract gives the government too much of a role in economic oversight.

Well guess what, unless you know what you're talking about, I don't give a fuck about your arguments over these complex issues, though I acknowledge that there are valid arguments for that. But most people don't really know them well enough to argue them.

Not really, that's the state of a corrupt and ineffective government, not no government.
 
It's not an assumption, it's as obvious to me as it would be obvious to a mechanic that the child in my above reference isn't qualified to speak.
 
It's inefficient to build things when the market can't support them otherwise. That money comes from somewhere and would be better spent, under ethical and economic principles, by the person that made it instead of by the government.
 
There's a big difference between zoning and planning and large-scale agribusiness subsidies or Cash for Clunkers.
 
Bush by himself declared war and invaded with no congressional approval, and with no support by any other countries.
 
If you have any fucking idea how public finance worked, you wouldn't be saying the things you're saying, if you knew what a fucking investment in the tax base was, or the economics behind financial stimulus, or the economic theory supporting it.
