Depends on the specifics, that rule doesn't apply across the board as simply as that. But it is a rule, it just has lots of exceptions.

The only difference is they sometimes pander to different groups.

But really this is the result of efficient ordering in the economic market of political control. People don't have the time, interest, or intelligence to follow politics, so they align themselves with a party and tow the line for most of their lives. This is politics in the most simplistic democratic terms: you're either one party or the other, you either vote for this guy or the other.

Are you talking about the facts in the initial post that have been years in the making?

Whenever people blame something on a president, I ask them what specific action he took that caused it.

They never can think of anything more than a blank stare.

If the federal government is used to counter market inefficiencies, that must mean every market in America is inefficient.

There are many things in the economy that need a central planning agency to collaborate public projects, in essence that is what the government is.

It plans large projects for the citizenry and for domestic firms, which we pay for.

The point is nobody should spend money they don't have. Our economy now runs on credit and debt and the government will continue to write bad checks until the whole thing collapses. And when that happens, it will be the average citizen which has to pay for it, even though they had no direct say in how much was spent, and where.

When a business runs out of money, they usually have to close, when Joe the plumber runs out of money, he loses his cars, his house. When government runs out of money, they just bend over their citizens and take more of what they want.

The system is fucked, and your dip-shit, half-witted ass can't see it.

What I see are inherent inefficiencies and corruption which we must constantly fight against and improve for sure, I also see the most successful government system in 10,000 years of human history and a golden age of comfort, learning, art, and recreation.

What I don't see are nefarious conspiracies, and black and white notions of evil government.

A business can close and joe the plumber can give blow jobs to make a living.......but the government cannot shut down/fail. Example ...Africa.
