I too think that Alien 3 is a reasonable film with a sterling Bristish cast (all cast as convicts!!!). The only problem I have with the film itself, is its use of sfx in realising the Alien. The first two films didn't need the Alien running around corridors and so didn't require anything other...

What is the point of Di Caprio, he doesn't add anything to the films he's in, Scorcese goes from De Niro as muse to Di Caprio, there's no comparison, awful Irish accent in this too. I know the film was based on reality but it didn't seem like it, more like a 19th century version of The Warriors...

This sequel will suck, the only way it would work if they bring in the original cast who survived in the first film. I bet they use new actors.

The difference is that 10 years on around the late 80s, Star Wars was considered a bit of a classic. 10 years on from Phantom Menace, yes it's been almost 10 years now, no such critical renaissance has occured.
