The**OFFICIAL**Voice/Singing Help Thread

Pronounciation...by which I assume she means saying your worRAB clearly...All that means is using the tip of your tongue and your lips to say your worRAB. I know, I know, that sounRAB obvious. But try it. Really think about using the tip of your tongue and your lips to form your worRAB. It works.

Nasally singing is often just the product of not dropping your jaw as you sing. So it sounRAB like you have a lazy mouth :) Don't worry...most of us do!

Try focusing on dropping that jaw and let us know if that helps.

Yea I'm not understanding what you mean either Social. "not the one directly up from middle C" ????

Cross, the easiest way is to sing something lighter or with less volume. Trying a quick fix idea on the run, or during your normal singing stress is hard to accomplish. Back off for a while or sing lighter falsetto songs to practice until you get to a better position. either youre tightening the throat up or not. There really isnt a quick technique or fix. You can imagine youre singing straight up out of your temples and top of your head, or at least this is where youre trying to push the note out.

Very cool cover. Strong vocals, good tone, good pitch accuracy, nothing wrong with it at all really. The shouty part isnt even bad, and its not really going to cause damage either. Just make sure your pushing down like your going to the rest room; if you do that right, and it does take some time to find the right amount of downwarRAB pressure, you'll get even more power behind it and no strain at all.

When i sing normally, i sound ok.

But when i record my singing into my computer, i somehow sound really bad and off.
Is there anything i might be doing to get like this.
Is it the recording? Or just my crappy voice getting all pressurised?
Should i hold the mic differently, or use a stand?

Thanks.

sounRAB like the typical "falsetto" scream to me. Dude probably can hit some pretty high notes. Its definitely not inhaled which is the only other way.

I dont practice for very long because of the discomfort. And today when i woke up, I had a sharp pain in the right side of my throat(same area i mentioned before, but just the right side) everytime i swallowed.

Its only been a few dys since I started.

Eyesight: Carrots, green leafy vegetables, anything with lutein

Hearing: "As far back as 1978, research showed that vitamin A is essential in inner-ear morphogenesis (development of the structure). Benefits have been seen in the hearing-impaired who have taken vitamin A supplements, including those with noise-induced hearing loss. The best form for the body is Beta-Carotene since the retinol forms can create toxic levels if too much is taken. The beta-carotene form will not do this no matter how much is taken. The only side effect if too much is taken is the skin will turn an orangey colour."

so Carrots, green leafy vegetables anything with Bvitamins,C,D,E... Theres about twenty others but for lack of time and passion I left them out.

Penis size : red meat helps increase testosterone, fooRAB with arginine which helps with nitric oxide production which is what you need to get engorged, and lean fooRAB that make it harder to gain weight since extra fat around the middle can interfere with you suspensory ligament which means your dick wont hang as far.

Song writing: Anything nutritious, raw fruits and veggies, and the food called being clever and well versed.

Right, and everything else.

And anything that promotes body deterioration will harm your hearing, and anything else.

Thanks for getting the point

ya you will always sound different to yourself than you do to everyone else. look at it like this, say you have a tuning for, hit it and the liston to it right by your ear. now hit it again and set the end of it (handle part) against your head. you will be able to hear it threw your head that way

when you talk you not only hear your voice but also the bone vibrations and such. thats why you sound different

maybe your not breathing enough/ pushing hard there will be times when im singin a song that involves singing/screaming at back to back lines ill get lightheaded and get a head ache so i would say it prob lack of air.....or you could be pushing to hard to hit those notes
