but i'm just using the phone in PC suite mode. i use that mode for everything except transferring large files. it's slower in PC suite mode. Mass storage seems to be faster...
If you're a location based fanatic, get the DROID. Lots of location based stuff there that you may enjoy, such as Layar, Google Sky Maps and FourSquare.
FourSquare is also coming to Blackberry soon, but Droid is probably where you want to be of all things related to GPS.

No, home screen contact search for the phone contacts. The M4E directory look up is integrated well into the email app itself. As you type an address into the To: field it automatically search the phone contacts for matches as well as having an automatic link to search the server directory...
