Move from ATT smartphone to Verizon smartphone

I am moving from a jailbroken Iphone 3GS from ATT as my provider to Verizon. This is so that I may get on my family's plan and save money so that I wont have to fully pay my bill.

My problem is I do not know Verizon's smartphone scene too well and was hoping for opinions and advice. I went to the Verizon store and liked the Motorola Droid and Blackberry Storm 2.

My needs and wants are pretty much summed up with what I did with my Iphone 3GS. I jailbroke it to get paid apps for free. I didn't care too much about interface.

GPS is something that was very important to me since I use my phone as my primary navigator. I did this using Navigon on my Iphone without paying extra. I heard the Droid has free turn by turn navigation which was one of the main reasons I looked towards the Droid, that and that I also heard it can be hacked for free apps even though I've yet to see anything on the net about that.

If you're a location based fanatic, get the DROID. Lots of location based stuff there that you may enjoy, such as Layar, Google Sky Maps and FourSquare.

FourSquare is also coming to Blackberry soon, but Droid is probably where you want to be of all things related to GPS.
