Favourite zombie movie? Dawn of the Dead is probably my favourite, 28 Days Later would be but im not sure if it is a proper zombie movie, they are more 'sick' than 'dead'. Anyway, favs?
 
Has to be Dawn of the Dead (1978).

The most epic zombie movie ever,possibly the greatest,certainly one of the greatest movies ever made.

That remake was rather good!! start is fantastic.
 
Apart from the usual suspects, ie. Dawn/Shaun of The Dead, 28 Days Later, etc. I quite like Return Of The Living Dead. It's really trashy, great fun but a bit scary as well.
 
Demons isn't a zombie movie [it's a movie about demonic possession through infection]. And neither is the 28 series. But both are horror as well, just not zombies.

Return of the Living Dead.
Return of the Living Dead 2.
Zombie Flesh Eaters.
Braindead.
City of the Living Dead.
Undead.


There are more but that is all I can think of at the moment.
 
Braindead?Is that the one where the zombies have a thing for eating peoples brains? I remember seeing it and being totally repulsed by the film. I've got quite a strong stomach but theres no way I'd sit through that film again. It was nasty.

Actually, I've just checked, I'm getting confused with Bad Taste, thats the film that makes me puke.

Undead was a great little film. I can't believe it got so slated on release. I think it was very well made and quite original.
 
Shaun of the Dead.

Actually, I don't really see the appeal of zombie movies. I quite liked Resident Evil, but not really for the zombies.
 
I cried at that film. I don't think I've ever witnessed someone capable of producing something so great make something so, so bad. It was quite possibly one of the worst horror films I've ever sat through, right down there with House of the Dead.
