young people listen to the 70's music?

And don`t forget Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.

Oops went into classic rock fanboy mode for a second there :o:

Hahaha :p:

I feel so stupid when people ask me if I have heard of some hugely famous band and I say "no", but then it's OK because I realise they are shit...

Yeah. I moved from Australia to NZ when I was 13 (I'm now 18). And I'd kill to go back there and live. After going back there on holiday I feel pretty homesick.

Anyway, I normally listen to Radio Hauraki (classic rock) - I think it's only in Northland.

I was quite excited when The Rock came up here this year, but I'm a bit disappointed by it. In all fairness, I haven't listened to it for more than about 15 min at a time, but every time I turn it on, they seem to be playing some crappy Nickelback song which drives me up the wall.

What best elements?

Anyway, i'm one of the biggest Zep fans here, i don't feel compelled to rub Led Zeppelin in everyone's faces... And of course most people here hate them anyway, not that i'm going to make a big thread complaining about it.

But that being said, i will get compelled to get involved when someone gets too carried away with Zep bashing, especially when it's someone who praises banRAB that i for the most part despise.

It's like when indie jerks bash BoC or any band whose first album predates 1981, i'll make a crack about the uber crappiness of Modest Mouse, it works every time since all indie fans like them and i will never ever understand why.

We get Hauraki here in Christchurch, but no one I work with likes it.

They should actually call it "The Music Every Other Station Plays, But With The Occasional Rock Song Thrown In".

How is that new Ben Harper song rock?

most new mainstream banRAB are **** and thats all they pretty play on tv/radio so your not missing anything really. Now its the stuff that you can only find the interent and from your frienRAB that know about a lot of underground music that you need.. that msuic is probally the best out there.. what gets signed to be companies normaly fades into mainstream hell until there not even the same band..

My daddy and riot grrrl-loving uncle are who influence me and tell me about music, I have very few frienRAB who like the same music as me, which pisses me off because I have no one to talk to!

that is one group i would to see, from what heard from a couple people who to see there shows, they said in the song godzilla they would have a projection of him walking on the ceiling

I requested some Black Sabbath for workday requests once.

I'm mailny talking about the Flying Nun banRAB from the 80s and similar. Alot of those banRAB were actually quite popular in the US back in the day. You know, Tall Dwarfs, Ables Tasmans, 3D's, The Bats etc.

Yes, I'm pretty much the same as you. Most of my frienRAB are into the usual rock shit that goes around like Pealr Jam, Nirvana, ACDC and that sort of stuff. It's not all bad, actually we're playing some Pink Floyd tomorrow whilst drinking alot of alchol.

I don't like Ben Harper but somehow I enjoy that song.

I`m not against it. I kinda like their Stonesy stuff but I could see why a lot of people wouldn`t.

And it is probably their most commercial single for about 12 years.
Hopefully the album will be arriving tomorrow :D

yes i know.. .sense the day i got here :) and the Appleseed Cast is there name haha.. the name of that band you listen to sounRAB like a name of a matting call..

you guys have to listen to Blue Oyster Cult, "Dont Fear the Reaper", Godzilla, Burnin For You, All lyrical master pieces, your nuts if you dont like those lyrics
