I doubt anything at all will happen to them, since the world is addicted to oil.

I swear, shit like this is whats wrong with the world. Yeah we are off fighting wars and shit, banning marijuana, busting our asses on efforts that in all reality, mean JACK SHIT compared to this tragedy.

Tons of this shit is polluting the ocean, which in way, is our fucking life.

What i dont get is the fact that they let these motherfuckers DRILL a hole in the earth to suck out its blood like a fucking disease, but had no plan of action in case something like this happened.

Its like building a fucking car without brakes.
 
It really comes down to the fact that they should've known the risks or they knew the risks and didn't care. Seems criminal to me.

BP is def. not the only company. I mean, shit if you take a good look out into the gulf coast every oil company has stake in at least two wells out there.

The extent of the damage from this oil will effect nature in the south for the next 100 years or more.

It was halliburton that constructed the concrete that allowed the methane bubble in the first place. Was BP aware of it? Was the oil rig owner aware of it? Hard to say, so it's hard to place blame
 
the infrastructure, business, and general climate of the gulf make it far easier to drill here than alaska.

also, there aren't oil deposits this big on land in the US. There's some big natural gas fields, but not oil like this. and I may be wrong on that, because I know they had a huge find in northern Canada recently, but again, I think that's just Natural Gas
 
This will probably be the largest environmental disaster (at least to that ecosystem) that man has ever produced.
 
When he was pushing for the new rigs before this happened, did his plan include a requirement for acoustic triggers?
 
all we have to do is drop a whole bunch of whiny hippies into the water to soak up the oil.

Then, once theyre all nice and soaked in oil, we can send their bodies to people who cant afford to pay for heating this winter.

I'd say we need about 1,000,000 of them to get started.
