Would You Watch British Wrestling

The moves made during matches are very real. Accidents will happen and we all know pro-wrestling has the highest fatality rate of any professional sporting activity, although few have ever died during or because of a match.

It amuses me how David Beckham is 'too old' at 35, yet the likes of Ric Flair is still getting his ass kicked in his early 60s. No-one tell me he isn't sore in the morning !

FWA is jsut cheap roh wannabe, will never make it big just like roh!

i went to international showdown and universal uprising ,they were great 1 off events and nice to meet wrestlers but wouldnt work as a weekly show as its devoid of any creativity.....its just wrestling

wrestling should be a soap opera, anyone who watches it as a sport neeRAB to start watching mma

majority love great characters, promos, skits, twists and turn fueRAB and then the pay off match

internet fans love 45min headlock matches with wrestler a vs wrestler b

I wouldn't just because I'm not that into watching sports on the telly, you just can't get the atmosphere you get from actually being there in the crowd at home.
But you know I'd probably watch it if there was nothing else on and my internet had broken :)

day has gone, back then there was still an element of realism to it

now the only people who want fake wreslting to be realistic sport are internet saddos who still live with their parents and crave the touch of a girl

wrestling should be soap opera in your face fun or it will fail

I doubt that, because even in the highly unlikely event a company got a money mark, they'd still need a major TV channel to show the product, and that seems impossible, Bravo doesn't even want to show the pay per views of the supposed second biggest company.

I was briefly talking to a TV presenter this afternoon who saw me in my wrestling T- shirt he's apparently doing some wrestling show in January.

I guess it will be TNA but it might be a step in the right direction for a brit show, certain to get mainstream coverage with a personality onboard.

TV wrestling was just dancing in the 70's (my dad used to get into it though) and it's still just dancing now. Only now they get very angry and use cardboard chairs to make them look even harder.

There's a mystery that we both posted his name at the exact same time. Spooky!

I was 9 / 10 in 1990, so I'm not really aware of what happened regarding his death. Good manager though, good on the mic, built Kendo's character up brilliant.

I like a manager who's a mouthpiece, never letting the wrestler speak, but getting his character over perfectly.

Even though he never said a word, we were all intrigued by Kendo Nagasaki. :)

It does whack of a total different era when a tag team were, (well I'm going to say Heels, even though we all know the British term before the Yanks took over was Villians!) Heels because they were Gay.

Try and do that now, you'd get slaughtered, and rightly so.

Never met you in my entire life, but from one wrestling fan to another, all the best mate, whatever is wrong with you KICK IT'S ASS
