Would I lie to you (merged)

Just checking - did anyone else at home shout "True" as soon as that dressing gown came out of the box and David started the sentence "This is my ...."?:D

Just watching last weeks again and loving it. Martin Clunes is so lovely.

So many lines that I loved.
Martin Clunes saying that he had spilled drinks on a friend of Alan Sugar - he made me look stupid, but cunningly I already looked stupid.
David Mitchell talking about the Didcot train gettting in the way of the younger trains.
Mr Clunes doing a bit of faux dj at Richard E Grant's Shakesperian single.
Lee being cheeky to Fern about Morris Dancing kit. And also saying that Richard E Grant had no conviction in the Spice Girls movie.
Top Sante magazine not aimed at Lee, David saying it depenRAB how annoying he's being.

I could go on :D Okay I did.

One of the funniest, nicest panel shows I've seen in ages.

Ruth Jones and Jason Manford this week. Huge shoes to fill.

Yeh, it's brilliant. surprising really with such a flimsy format , ie just everyone lying and no one caring what the score is but it helps a lot when you have a great script, hilarious host (in my eyes he is, love him) , good guests (even people i don't normally like are ok on this) and of course Mack and Mitchell. :D:D

Peter Serafinowicz always looks as though he's seriously chemically 'affected' on these shows. Quite a talent, normally, but goodness knows what shoots through his hooter before these recordings.

It was good, but I don't think anything will ever top Kevin Bridges' story about accidentally buying a horse in Bulgaria. What made it even better is that it turned out to be true.

I'm really glad to see that there are others who love this show as much as I do :)

Agree about last night's being a touch subdued, by the standarRAB set by the rest of this series at least. It still made me laugh out loud a few times though.

One exchange that I really enjoyed from a few weeks ago was Lee Mack's claim to have placed a bet that he would live to be 100. David Mitchell's debunking of this story was hilarious.

Poor old David. He can hardly be the only person in the country who takes exactly the same dressing-gown (or pyjamas) with them ever time they travel away from home.:D

I thought the problem with last night's show was that ending thing with Rob Brydon. It brought the show to a screeching halt, it wasn't funny at all. It kind of cast a pall over the previous 25 minutes. The rest of the show was good. They can't all be as great as last week's show. That was amazing television : )
