World Wrestling Entertainment Discussion X (Spoilers)

Did anyone spot the other botch? At least I think it was a botch... it was during the Truth/DiBiase match.
Truth hit his finisher (i think) but DiBiase kicked out (not sure if it was by accident or not) and then Truth finished it off for the win.

Just seemed like a rushed finish (I.e Oh S*it, we ****ed it up, lets finish it quick"

I prefer elimination matches end of story when there's multiple participants. Triple threat matches are a pet hate of mine in particular. I see what you mean though about Survivor Series etc, although I reckon a 7v7 tag match with no eliminations may be a bit drawn out even for a PPV.

I'm none too keen on the Bragging Rights format anyway, its almost like it ignores some of the storylines on both the individual shows and shelves them out of a desire to see a string of novelty matches.

I dunno, this year's game hasn't really got me thinking I must buy it. I was hoping for some sort of NXT angle in it but from what I've read there isn't.

If I'm being honest, if there was a PPV that needed scrapping this was it

Hardly anybody cares about the brand v brand match and it only serves to promote the latest Smackdown v Raw game which is getting enough promotion already IMO

Barrett on why Nexus got involved in the buried alive match: "That is none of your business but we had our reasons"

In other worRAB, creative haven't written an angle for that part yet.

tna is nowhere near as good as it should be, when you got jay lethal vs amazing red taking up more than 3 mins you know its not gonna be a good show so dont refer to me in such a dismissive manor please

btw orlando jordan is TNA is 100000000000000000X better than any midcarder in wwe, hell hes better than some of their main eventers.

if you guys ran a promotion it would be wrestler a vs wrestler b....oh wait that is wwe since vince russo left anyway

Put the Raw vs Smackdown or Buried Alive match on last.

I wouldnt have minded the match finish like that in the middle of the card but having that as a main event has just deflated me.

The biggest selling PPV is a complicated issue Super.

Wrestlemania 17 is the biggest selling PPV in North America with roughly 1,040,000 buys.Wrestlemania 23 attracted 1,200,000 buys, but over 400,000 came from from outside of the US.Also,it's worth noting that PPV was mostly confined to North America until 2002.

Wrestlemania 3 did a 10.2 buyrate, which equals about 400,000 buys. This means 10% of the 4 million homes capable of receiving PPV in 1987 bought the event. That is probably the most impressive figure of all.

Matt Hardy could join TNA tomorrow if he wanted. as long as he doesn't mind losing 3 months pay. I guess WWE didn't like him uploading that video to Youtube showing an unmasked Rey Mysterio lol.

I also think they are great... I just did not think they were needed for the buried alive match... I was shocked that they got involved though. If anybody was getting involved I thought it would be Lesnar... How wrong was I? :o

I know that. But he had his time. He was right to retire. He looks old, he talks old, he walks old. I can do what he does. I can do chops. I can throw someone into the turnbuckle and punch them. I can sell a beating for 10 minutes then kip up, do some more chops, throw them into the ropes and chop them down, throw them again for a back body drop and go for the big elbow off the top turnbuckle. Lots of people can play the character of Shawn Michaels.

Just like in 5 years the likes of John Cena and Randy Orton should be nowhere near any main events on Raw/Smackdown or PPVs but they will be because that is just how things work in wrestling. You chew them for as long as possible until they kill themselves or they cripple themselves and then you spit them out. That is pro wrestling! I will make sure i take lots of pictures of the Undertaker in November because i am 100% sure that is the last time i will ever see him in person again. He doesn't have it to quit, so he will continue to be chewed by the machine and the minute he can't wrestle anymore or he cripples himself.......he will be spat out.

I'm near the ring though so i should get some good pictures.
