World Wrestling Entertainment Discussion X (Spoilers)

The heel turn worked on the night but in the long run? With Raw and Smackdown, you can see the talent getting the push they deserve. Whilst TNA has sufficently improved but did Russo, Bischoff and Hogan learn anything after WCW? Some good things but the talent neeRAB nurturing and the storylines have to develop.

Lol at Bischoff kicking the ref tho.

Team Raw vs Team Smackdown - well the Bragging Rights pay-per-view as a whole actually - exists purely to promote a computer game.

If it wasn't on Sky Sports there's no way I'd buy it.

hmm shattered dreams and curtain call were better finishing moves for goldust, although i doubt shatterd dreams would be allowed in the e nowerdays

Rey would never go there. They wouldn't treat him the way WWE does. They wouldn't put him on a pedestal. Your putting Rey Mysterio in the same category as Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair? Rey Mysterio is not a real wrestler. That isn't real wrestling. Real wrestlers know how to work, that is why a 60+ year old Ric Flair puts most wrestlers to shame because he is 100% healthy and mobile. Rey wont make it near 60. Infact quite a lot wont live till 60. Sad but true and not surprising.

I've actually had an inkling recently Miz will cash in tonight, but given the promos for the UK tour and what it's promoting it seems unlikely. I am now thinking forward to Survivor Series or TLC now

It has to come soon and I do hope Miz will be champion before the end of 2010, although I'm not looking forward to douchebag Cole getting rather over-excited when Miz does get the title

With the exception of Christian, anything is possible thesedays because they book on the fly,as seen by Swagger's rapid rise to champion after doing nothing for months. It seems they're willing to throw Vince's ideal superstar into the main event without hesitation, especially if he's a heel.

IMO the Rumble will be won by either Sheamus,Swagger,Barrett or McIntyre.

Judging from the tease at the start of Newsnight, looks like Linda McMahon's senate campaign is going to be featured. Should be on in the next few minutes on BBC 2.

That isn't the most unrealistic shout, actually - Jezza is apparently trying to crack America at the moment, so if he picks up a US TV deal between now and the next time Raw visits the UK he may be recognisable on both sides of the Atlantic which is what the WWE wants from a British Guest Host.

And of course, Raw Guest Hosts always have something to plug, so if Jeremy has a new show Stateside it'd make sense for him to look to promote himself and said show by going down the WWE avenue.

I'm stopping up for Raw for the first time in ages (I have the day off tomorrow), so I hope to be joining in with the live discussion this evening. :)

I don't want Cena to turn heel and I don't understand why so many people want him to.
I think Nexus have spoilt RAW, maybe thats why the ratings are going down.
