Why would anyone be AGAINST national healthcare???

It's worth it *TO YOU.* It's not worth it to me, but under your system I'd be forced to pay for it anyway.

In addition to being forced to pay for something that I don't think is worth it, I'd have my own health care watered down.

Regardless of whether or not someone is a mooch, or lazy or whatever they do not deserve to die because of it.

Even if your enough of an ass to think they do, isn't it better if someone who is down on their luck but is "deserving" gets properly taken care of, even if it means the "mooches" get through?

Maybe they should try fighting for reform. Fighting to stop your leaders and upper class from raping you. Fighting to have some say over how their own lives are governed. Fighting against tyrants who are elected and lie to force you into wars.

No, health care shouldn't be free.
It should NOT be free and there should be a co-pay every time so people won't abuse it, and the cost should be more reasonable.

Right now, if you're poor enough, Medicaid, Medi-Cal or other bottom feeder programs will pay, but if you're not making a bank, but make too much to qualify for these programs, you're fucked. So these programs should be abolished and government programs shouldn't disproportionately favor the bottom feeders indulging them with better insurance coverage than most people.

Then, the cost should be a flat rate, not dictated by provider negotiation bullcrap.

Great idea; disincentivize people to become doctors because they don't want to put up with the long schooling, red tape, and low pay.

See how many great doctors our country produces then.

I love capitalism. I don't think it's applied properly to healthcare. If there wasn't SO MUCH profit going to a handful of people it could go here: More for doctors and other proffesionals who took the time and effort to go to school. Research. technology.

You don't even have to take it out of the hands of private companies. Just set a standard that must be met, and limit how much profit they can make.

the actual insurance should be governemnt controlled. Even if everyone just paid the same rates, and the government made the profit, think how many grants they could offer for new technology. as well as lowering rates. Plus there would be no conflict of interest where it's in their best interest to say no.

I have free healthcare for life. But I've served my country for it. You want some, come get some.

P.S. I am working on a graduate degree on the tail end of my first enlistment. All of my education was 100% paid for my Uncle Sam. Maybe they're reserving the real benefits for those who are fighting for them

Lol cuz its SOCIALIZING health care....... Which may i add is being payed by people who actually work for their money and the government. Tax raise anyone? Jus another step in the wrong direction.

no one is forcing these people to get the double QP with cheese at McDonald's instead of the grilled chicken sandwich or salad.

So you want the government to give people health care whether or not they can afford it AND you want them to force businesses to not offer what people want because it could be bad for them?

Do you also think the government should mandate exercising?
Afterall, eating fast food and going on a 5 mile run is better for you than eating a cobb salad and sitting on your ass all day.

Should the government also wipe everyones ass for them?
Dirty buttholes can lead to diseases and infections. Soon everyone could get too lazy to do it themselves and we'll have an entire society walking around with Pink Eye.
