OMG Lauren SO glad you liked it! I love Cold Mountain. I know people think it's a typical war romance epic and it kind of is but I don't care because Jude Law's performance was flawless and just incredible!
Haha. The Faculty is one of my all time favorite movies, mostly because it was the perfect fit for our high school. It was our movie. Hee. I have mad love for it.
The Rules of Attraction Ian Somerhalder was the only good thing in this movie. It's kinda like James Van Der Beek wanted to show that he can be more than just the lovely Dawson. But he's not really a good actor. So it was a bad movie. The most entertaining thing was the kiss between Ian and James
unfortunately most of the films that i've watched in theaters, the last couple of weeks, have not memorable or noteworthy....
today.....
'aisha' in hindi with english subtitles.....
a bollywood remake of jane austen's "emma" set in new delhi....
the only thing that makes this film mentionable are the good looking indian actors.....and the extremely good looking indian actresses who have a real flair with their clothes, makeup bags and shopping sprees....
Happy Tears - I couldn't finish this one. It could have been so much better.
13 Going On 30 - I like to break this one out every once in a while. I think its adorable. Jennifer Garner plays an innocent 13 year old girl rather well.
[sp]The visual effects were fanastic with the street going over top of them and becoming a square. All the stuff that Arthur delt with related to the hotel with fighting side ways and upside down was cool[/sp]
[sp]The main storyline of the "inception" into Cillian's mind was alright, wasn't anything grand but did like how they used the effect of telling him that he was in a dream and having him aware. That was brilliant and did like that but felt that maybe I was expecting more from that[/sp]
[sp]I didn't read a single thing but kinda of felt that it wasn't reality from pretty early on. Was starting to think that his wife was right and that it wasn't real. I think that she "kicked" herself out and she's living the real world with not being dead. Also kinda of felt a bit like what it was in Shutter Island with how I kinda of feel that he himself has created everything that has happened. His team and people may not be real but sub-concious and stuff. So it was a disappointment but the movie was still alright[/sp]
Cold Mountain-liked it a lot...it had a good plot and the acting was amazing...spot on by everyone...especially Jude Law...he's amazing! lots of action and never a dull moment...it was intense and emotional...great movie!
I need to see Toy Story 3 but had no one to go with! The first one was totally my generation and I saw it when I was little! But totally realized now that neighbor kids was one doll mutilation away from totally psychopathy and killing small animals. Creepy!
I just saw Intermission because I'm in a Cillian kick and I find Irish movies to be totally filled with pent up frustration and anger and violence and very often pretty chaotic and entropic, but I love them. Not as good as British crime dramas, but totally interesting!
Last movie I saw in theaters was Inception for the 4th time and I started Kill Bill Vol. 1 (one of my favs) with a friend last night but first the dvd player broke then later we were too sleepy and had had too much wine to finish it. Shame. I love those movies.
Charlie St. Cloud-omg...:thud: it was so adorable and amazing!! i loved it...it was funny, touching, really sad but all around great! ...and if that doesn't make you want to see it then...Zac Efron was shirtless...:thud:  he's so hot! Charlie and Sam's relationship is so adorable....i love them! great movie!
Inception: I finally saw it yesterday and liked it. I think it's incredibly entertaining, it has lots of action and great special effects, it never got boring. Besides, I found the whole plot to be very interesting for a sci-fi movie, very original. Leonardo DiCaprio's acting was outstanding. Plus, I loved seeing Michael Caine in it too.
