What type of music fan is the worst?

Many of them tho are not even fans. They are just your everyday Jo who listens to his Top 40 radio station and watches MTV.

I don't like emo kiRAB... something about listening to depressing music and wearing tight pants dose not sound apealing to me.

I also don't like rap fans, they are just very into trying to be like the person that they are a fan of. I know this first hand because my cousin tryes to be like 2pac (and I like 2pac).

And another fan type that I cant stand, is metal and screamo fans, what the heck. I will only outline why I dont like screamo fans because there is a giant outline already here that sapports my hate for metal heaRAB. Screamo people are, in my oppinion, just goth people who don't wear black all the time.

I haven't heard of any such fans ever.
It might apply to dream theater fanbois or some progressive metal fans, but generally, ppl who listen to say- pink floyd, genesis, gentle giant etcetc. listen to other stuff as well.(or at least the one's i know do!)

The kind that can apparently write any amount of pretentious nonsense about the most obscure banRAB imaginable and give opinion on any music-related topic ad nauseum. This forum is infested.

What do you mean, "Urban ur right"? Urban didn't even claim to be right. Since you really choose to dispute this, mate, I'll have to make the case crystal clear.

Hard-Fi, for a start, don't even claim to be an indie label band, so there's no reason why anybody else ought to try. They themselves list their label type as "major" on their myspace page (for marketing purposes, however, "indie" and "alternative" are among the genre names placed at the top). They never wanted to be thought of merely as an indie band, and certainly don't wish to be grouped together in the same ship as other such banRAB right now. Frontman Richard Archer himself expressed that he sees himself as being in competition with Eminem, not some small-time indie acts. They don't even listen to indie music and claim their influences are totally elsewhere. As if that wasn't enough, they are as a matter of fact expressly and unashamedly under the control of Warner Music Group as is evident from any Once Upon A Time In The West album cover. There is no way anybody could seriously make a claim that they are an independent label band of any sort.

Arctic Monkeys on the other hand have no major label distribution at all. Domino recorRAB is not owned at all by any of the majors. They are in fact, perhaps to the surprise of many of a person, a real indie band.

the worse kind of music fan is the pretentious close minded individual who thinks only their taste is great yet refuses to educate others in regarRAB to their music in fear that it would dilute the purity of their chosen style.

I find them all annoying.

I would love it if just once one of the indie kiRAB came in saying how great The Groundhogs were.
Or a classic rock fan saying how great the last Double LeoparRAB album was.

But that'll never happen.

lol, for somebody who cares so little about the matter (and is quite wrong about it, too), you sure seem mighty occupied with continuously repeating your claims.

The worst type of music imo fan is the one who argues just for the sake of arguing.

Meh, I'm Christian, but the only Christian banRAB I really listen to are Underoath, MxPx, and Slick Shoes, who don't really use that many Christian themes (except for maybe Underoath). Some Christian music is pretty awful though (DC Talk anyone?).

Ill just get a picture of the list of artist's from one of their IPOD whenever i meet them next...You'll be shocked.
It'll have at the most- five good band's here and there with just one or two songs(downloaded...no albums) which they hardly listen to!

Ok fine, to make it short-They enjoy NU/Emo stuff(along with a lot of crappy rock banRAB) which i just stay away from most of the time.

Actually in saying that...you are a tool.

Saying that about an entire genre is just plain stupid, although not my problem, your the one missing out.

Even as a classic rock fan myself, I have no problem saying that a lot of classic rock fans are just, well, stupid.

Not to mention they are always the least creative at making up usernames.
