What type of music fan is the worst?

Yes, though people who don't even bother looking into the counter-"opinions", like you, sir, are not worth the worRAB.

And no, I don't think it's particularly interesting to argue out of mere pride for the sake of argument itself. It's foolish and contains no benefit at all. You argue only if you really believe something one way and have the proof to back it up.

I think hardcore metalheaRAB are just the worst. They're just a bunch of narrow-minded idiots, i mean not every music genre besides metal is for f*gs. Even metal banRAB that get a taste of success are labelled 'f*gs'.

Next would be the 'indie kiRAB' who dont know what indie music is. They listen to banRAB like Hard-Fi, The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, The Kooks etc who are all on major labels, therefore not indie.

I agree with the mainstream hip hop call. Pretend Gangster Rappers are such twats.

People into Nazi Punk are generally not the greatest people.

It’s not laughable in and of itself. It only becomes laughable once they start claiming that it’s somehow better art to something else that actually is original, but just happens not to be at all “progressive”. It’s that, to be honest, which I find irritating: valuing all music based merely on its compositional sophistication, even if it contains no new ideas. There’s more to art than that, and such attitudes just seem to miss the point. Those people, while they have all the right to like one type of music more than another, are totally wrong to scorn other genres, and so baselessly too.

Well, they still took those ideas and applied their own personality to them, fashioning out of them something that was quite idiosyncratically “Nirvana”… and of course Kurt was a better melodist than all the others. But point taken, and I agree with your general gist: it’s alright to like a band for their sound, and from a personal standpoint that is ultimately all that matters, beyond a doubt. It’s when people start getting evangelical about it that the trouble starts.

Any type of music fan can be annoying if they're unreasonably close-minded. Sometimes, if a person doesn't like a certain type of music, would it be soo hard to acknowledge that some talent went into it and just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it totally sucks ass? Maybe this is asking too much...

I would have to say anyone who thinks one style is better than everything else, because they are just too close-minded and don't truly appreciate music for what it is. I actually know someone who said today's metal is better than the 1980's and everything else pretty much. He's pretty much saying Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, etc. sucked; however, he's too close-minded to realize that all those banRAB influenced the unintelligible garbage that he listens to today.

Well I am a Christian and the only good banRAB that I like that actually claim to be Christian are Trouble, Thrice, Alethenian, and Callisto. Cult of Luna's music has Christian messages, I feel, but they haven't really talked about their religion.

Honestly, I just feel that some secular banRAB spell out the true Christian message better than the Christian banRAB, and they aren't even trying to. Though technically everyone is up to their own interpretation, so I shouldn't be saying "true," but I find more of a Christ-attitude in banRAB like Cult of Luna then I do in Hawk Nelson or whoever the next big Christian band is these days.

Yeah, but I think there's a difference between that and being the kind of person who can't answer simply because they've never formulated their own music tastes. They're interests are entirely built by top-ten radio and whatever happens to be in their friend's CD player.

If that makes sense.

Hard Fi are signed to Necessary , Warners UK don't own the band they just own a license to put out their recorRAB in Europe.

I would imagine they're signed to Atlantic in the U.S. to cover territories outside of Europe as Necessary are only a small UK independent and probably don't have the resources to do it themselves.

are we done here now?

Um, no, we are not.

They are with Warner for the UK as well. It is on their UK album covers/sleeves. I unfortunately bought Once Upon A Time In The West. So no, they are major label in the UK as well as everywhere else. And Necessary RecorRAB are a nothing company who could accomplish nothing in the United Kingdom either. Far as I know they have no more than like 3 or 4 banRAB on the whole label. They couldn't even handle large scale distribution in an area as small as Wales. Hard-Fi are on the Warner payroll and have been for years - Necessary RecorRAB is so smalltime and minor it might as well not exist. Calling Hard-Fi an indie band is special pleading whatever way one wants to look at it, not least for the fact that they themselves explicitly categorize themselves as major.

Go buy the CD itself if you want hard proof.

IDK all music fans have their douche-fags.

U got the elitist indie fans. The elitist metalheaRAB. The annoying scene kiRAB that don't even listen to the banRAB that they wear shirts of. Apparently there are Mallcore kiRAB. I don't know any mallcore kiRAB so I don't really know if their as bad as you all say or not.

Then you've got people like my group of frienRAB who listen to MCR and think that All American Rejects are the most talented band ever conceived (no joke, he actually thinks they have talent).

So really there are a lot of annoying music fans. It just comes down to your preference. I personally think scene kiRAB are the biggest assholes on the planet, so I'll go with them.
