I agree about the Vilage..

Blood Diamond - in a good way, i got made to watch it by my Boyfriend because he wanted to watch it, and i was just expetting a war/action movie, and i dont really like them, but it was so good! really amazing!

One movie that I expected to like, but cannot stand:

Napolean Dynomite-- I had a ton of my friends whispering in my ear that this movie was awesome, and sooo funny, so my husband and I rented it. It is, honestly, one of the stupidest movies I've ever seen before in my entire life. I think I laughed about... twice, and for the most part just wanted to shut the movie off and throw the DVD out the window.

To make things extra worse: We watched Lost In Translation afterwards. I don't know what I was expecting with this one... but it sucked, too.

Ils (Them) - I didn´t even know it was a french movie when i rented it, i thought it was just another crappy hollywood horror movie. Sure, the story is extremely simple but the acting is just great and along with The Descent i think it´s the best horror movie over the last couple of years.

I was pretty suprised to like The Perfect Storm. I just went with my sister, my cousin, and my aunt because I was bored and wanted to get out of the house but I ended up really liking it. I also really liked the remake of ET even though I hated it as a kid.

I hated The Glass House. I got a few friends together to go see it; I was very excited. That movie is horrible.

Epic movie. I expected it to be funny and cool like the Scary Movies but I found it really corny.:(

Airplane - I only laughed because my friend is obsessed with it and was sitting right next to me. I felt like killing the power in my own house so I wouldn't have to sit through another second.

Yours, Mine, & Ours remake-in the beginning i only wanted to see it b/c of Drake Bell-but i ended up loving it!! the movie was so cute!!!

Borat...I thought I'd hate it because it was over-hyped and it looked really lame, but I couldn't sleep one night and I popped the DVD...I found it hilarious and I was completely entertained.

I agree on all of these! After I saw Primal Fear I was an instant Edward Norton fan! Such a brilliant actor and only he could have pulled off that ending.

The Village- I was so excited about going to watch this movie and when I finally saw it I came out of the movies room thinking ''That was it?''

Movies I thought I would hate but I absolutely love:

Eurotrip, Dodgeball, Mean Girls, Anchorman, Moulin Rouge

Movies I thought I would love but I hate:

League of Extrordinary Gentlemen, VanHelsing, Lost in Translation, The Grudge

Movies that just shocked me with their ending:

Pay It Forward, Taking Lives, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon

The Messengers-i heard that it was really bad...i thought it was really good!! not scary but kept me entertained

"The Village" - I went to see it after I heard from some people who saw it and say it was not very good. But I love it! I thought everyone did a great job in their respectful roles. :D

10,000 BC-i saw it a couple nights ago...i was really surprised how much i liked it. it was not my kind of movie but i ended up loving it!!! the acting and visuals were outstanding!!!!

Rat Race

I thought it was just some cheap-scale movie with lame jokes. But it turned out to be really funny and entertaining. They got physical humour and sarcastic humour mixed in really well and made you care about what happens to each contestant of the race cuz they were all funny in different ways.

Night at the museum...The movie was totally different than what I thought it would be like and i ended up liking it so much that i saw the same movie twice that particular day

Another movie that surprised me was "Underworld", I expected it be all about vampires, but I was unaware about the werewolf (lycans in the film) (until I started to watch the movie) storyline in the movie. It was so good and I cannot wait until the sequal. Not to mention, Scott Speedman was so hot in this movie and it was an added bonus to see him in it.
