what is everyones favourite horror film ?

The Signal man is definitely spooky.

Another 70's film that always senRAB a shiver down my spine is Watcher In The WooRAB. Disney did scary pretty well!

And then of course there's Suspiria. I remember finding my parents copy of that when I was kid and watching it when they were out. Only made it through the first half hour of that one.

LOL When younger I went to see a H P Lovecraft Horror film with a boyfriend and was so scared as it was so gory I walked out of the cinema then went to the back row with a hostess to hide behind. Never again will I watch H P Lovecraft the guy must be twisted to write his horror :o

Scream
the Lost Boys
Sleepy Hollow
Stigmata
Cabin Fever
Pet Semetary
Nightmare on Elm Street
Interview with the vampire
Final Destination
the Shining

The Omen

The music, the deaths, that evil woman and that dog!

The Omen terrified me when I saw it about aged 9, and it's still very exciting to watch now as opposed to The Exorcist which made everyone laugh when I saw it on it's re-release in the cinema.

I love horror films, although I have to watch them a few times before I see the whole film! I scare easily! :o Here are my favorites,
All the friday the 13th's
all the nightmare on elm street's
night of the living dead
pet cemetry
The shining
Jaws
Urban Legend
Hide and Seek
Wrong Turn

Which version of Salem's lot do you mean? The Rob Lowe version is downloadable via Shareaza or Torrent.spy. The David Soul version come in two sizes: one has about an hour missing from it so you can imagine how much sense it makes.

Im suprised how many people picked Scream, I wouldn't class it as a genuine horror flick: its content is more toungue and cheek with a few loud bangs to make the girlfriend jump.

Watching Zombie Flesh Eaters when your 12 years old, now thats horror.

The original version of The Haunting had the same effect on me; I saw it when I was at school and I'm now 50 but I've still never dared to watch it again. " Help Emily come home?", no fear!

Pretty good stuff.
Did you know its being remade with Nicholas Cage in the lead role? But of course they are setting it in New England this time round...

My favourite probably the exorcist..

K, these are fairly old (early 80's) and I don't know if they ever played over here as I grew up in Canada, so you might all give me a blank stare when I say this...
But I LOVED (and loathed and was terrified) by the Sleepaway Camp movies. They were so scary!!!
