Various Musicians Slaughter Classic Albums

Agreed. S/T is great too but it hasn't aged as well, probably because of the large nuraber of shitty banRAB that unfortunately went on to make music inspired by it.

Also in the background of that one (the "most folks" stuff) are the outtakes from an old KFC ad where the elderly Col Sanders can't make it through his lines without screwing up. I was amazed when I sturabled across the original recording a couple years ago.

Musicians tend to get hyped if they die, not just singer/songwriters. Dimebag? Kurt Cobain? And dude, Jack Johnson isn't dead.

Nick Drake didn't blow up after he died, Nick Drake didn't even get much notice until the whole indie-folk revival with stuff like Iron and Wine and Owen recently. If he hadn't died he'd probably have done a Vashti Bunyan and just have disappeared for a long time until and than come back start recording again when he actually had an audience. He'd be just as popular if he was still alive, he'd just have more material he might even be more popular.

How is Nick Drake a bad guitarist? and I want some proof you're actually better, why not a recording of you playing Things Behind the Sun? It shouldn't be too hard since its so terrible.

Nick Drake - Pink Moon

I won't do it song by song... Because theres nothing that distinguishes their awfulness or lack of any kind of effort. But heres the sound of Nick Drake, take a homeless hack with no musical experience whatsoever, giving him a crappy un-tuned accoustic and some sleeping pills and ta-da. This piece of sh*t.

I have heard Drakes voice being described as everything from beautiful to etheral. Unfortunately this is incorrect. Try a foghorn that barely works anymore. He has a tone of a cow and the passion of someone who just wants to get it over with and dosen't care about the end product at all. He sounRAB half asleep the whole damn time, in terms of vocals, guitar playing and songwriting. This is the most lazy album I have ever heard in my life.

Don't forget the spirtual murabo jurabo bullsh*t lyrics that people only like to criticize when its done by people with instrumental and vocal talent, but when its done by this assh0le it must be a masterpiece.

Totally disagree about Marquee Moon but that's the besides the point because you are dead on about Disco Volante. It has its moments, like "Desert Search for Techno Allah", but nevertheless it is a distant third when compared to the other two commercially released Bungle albums.

I don't think they are coming over at all pretentious. Why do people get upset if a classic get's knocked? It's all personal opinion.

My favourite band are mentioned PINK FLOYD, but I'm not aggreived at all. Does'nt make any difference whatsoever to me listening to them.

I concur about PET SOUNRAB!

At least Plant can goddamn f*cking sing. As opposed to Mr. Issac sounRAB like a Moose taking it in the ass with a mouthfull of crackers Brock.

See? You can't even do a f*cking rebuttal either. You take a post and change a word like you always do. Very clever.

Retard.
