I paid for Agile Messenger because it seemed to be the best multi-protocol client available for my phone.
If MobJab (ie. server and user control front-end) became a working service utilising Nokia's onboard client, I'd almost certainly be willing to pay a small-ish subscription.

Nokia's new Chat software doesn't use the built-in software, isn't available for most Nokia models and, I'd imagine, will end up as a paid-for subscription service in time.

Battery use on E90 (210.34.75) is excellent! I can't say that my time-to-charge is less now, with my phone already checking 2 IMAP boxes and downloading weather updates, which basically keeps EDGE running 24/7.

One question: after a long voice call, or, sometimes after the phone sits with zero service for a few minutes, the built-in application does not always "reconnect." This seems sporadic and I--so far--cannot find a pattern based on whether the built-in client front-end is "running," or, is silently in the background. Any experiences from users that frequently go into low-service areas?

Any update on the mobjab end?

As of late when I log in, I am recieving a failure on the msn as it is unable to access my data and I don't get the annoying french message.

Hi

Checked your account. Shows MSN registered there as External IM but doesnt show any contacts in your list.

No point in Editing contact names on the web client as they dont get stored permanently in your account. Just keep the contact names as it is.

When you login to web client do you get your contacts list?

That's exactly what this does. But for the N95-4, I don't think the IM client is on there. I had an 95-3 and it originally had the IM client, but with recent firmware updates, it seems to have been removed. I currently have the E71 and aside from gtalk/xmpp registration issues (which is on the server side and being developed), it works perfectly.

For the IM app in nokia S60 phone, once I switch the server from mobjab.mobi to mobjab.net I recieve a server error and I am unable to log in.

Is the mobjab.net server active yet?

What should I do to make this working? i have read your all FAQs and have spent more than 5 hours on this.

Hi

Checked the samsung website for your handset....doesnt clearly mention its a IMPS client. possible to check your handset manual for that?

Also you dont need to put in your hotmail account as login. you need to put in your MobJab account for login.

Hello,

There are some upgrades planned on both mobjab.mobi and mobjab.in IMPS servers for fixing bugs and adding new features. During the upgrade, New users might not be able to register and there might be loss of connectivity to both the IMPS gateways. Users new External IM registration will also be disabled or deleted for temporary time. We regret in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

The estimated time frame to resolve this is around 12-20 hours.
