Unpopular Opinions: Not everyone thinks "Citizen Kane" is the best movie ever!

I'm reminded of this fact when she's the only worthwhile thing about movies like Failure To Launch, etc.

I don't know if it's his absolute best, but my favorite acting performance of his was in the John-Malkovich-directed The Dancer Upstairs.

Pride & Prejudice the 2005 movie sucked. I hated Matthew McFayden as Darcy and I didn't think Keira was that good either.

I think as a couple, Brad and Angelina are the most sought after because according to Hollywood, he's like the hottest actor and she's like the hottest actress and they are together, so its like Hollywood's 'perfect pair'.

I don't always like all the 'news' coverage they get, but I do applaud their charity work and one of their recent acts to be commended is some magazine paid them a couple million for photos of their babies, and they donated all that money to charity. I thought that was awesome.

This might be considered an UPO but: I cannot stand Sarah Jessica Parker, she's so annoying! Plus, I don't think she's that great of an actress. I haven't seen her in a role that's impressed me.

I honestly think a lot of people dislike Katie because of Tom Cruise and that whole circus freak-show they had going on at the beginning of their relationship. And while Maggie does have a more impressive resume and is a better actress overall, Rachel just fit Katie better.

Katie's the perfect girl-next-door. Maybe it's Dawson's Creek, but I think she has that look.

I totally agree. I just didn't get it at all. It just seemed like violence for the sake of it.

Thanks  I haven't seen Million Dollar Baby though because of how I feel about Clint so you never know! Oh! And while we were trying to make this short film in October and Novemeber, Clint Eastwood stole our location and our fake people for Changeling... So he's permanently on our **** list

UO #12: Gladiator is over rated (think that was mentioned earlier)
UO #13: I'll take any of Nick Cage's action films over Leaving Las Vegas
UO #14: I hate Austin Powers
UO #15: I don't know how UO this is but, my friends love Not Another Teen Movie and I loathe it!

Wahoo, I so hear ya on that one!

Here are a few more of mine:

UO #9: Kate Bosworth was the right choice for Lois Lane

UO #10: Superman Returns wasn't a bad movie. It was better than Spiderman

UO #11: Keira Knightley is a very good actress

UO #12: Lord of the Rings weren't that great of films

I agree about Sandra Oh.

I'm not a huge fan of Catherine Keener, but I did like her in Capote.

Same! Not sure if I've said this, but I really don't get what's so great about "Twilight" either. And I'm 17...

LOL I love action flicks, but I understand why some didn't think it was all that. There were parts that I didn't particularly like and thought were boring(pretty much any scene that focused on the fake!triangle), but I love Batman and Christian Bale. And for another unpopular thing, I loved CB in DK. LOL

I think Titanic is way overrated. Kate and Leo were okay in it, but I'm just not a big fan of the movie.

IDK if this is unpopular or not, I've heard different views from the RENT heads who love the Broadway play, and hated the movie, to those who loved the movie...

I see both sides, I think the movie cut out to much of the plotline, example: Goodbye Love, is one of the most important parts in the play, and it helps draw out the ending, so to see it not in the movie was disappointing, but despite what the movie cut out, I loved it, and Rosario Dawson is probably my favourite Mimi.

Haha It's A Wonderful Life is usually in the top list of "movies you have to watch" by the critics. Which leads me to another of my unpopular opinion. . .

I hate A Clockwork Orange. Maybe because I didn't get the point at all. I know it's something about behaviourism and government mandated "rules." The acting, except for Malcolm McDowell, is laughable. Seriously Malcolm McDowell is the only good thing about that film. Maybe I should watch it again

P.S. I also love the LOTR movies! And I also can't wait for The Hobbit.

ICA!

This sounds more unpopular, but I love Angelina, she was fantastic in Girl, Interrupted.

- I think the Hulk movie with Eric Bana was a cool movie

- Black and white movies aren't cool. They are dull and boring

- Star Wars is way better than Star Trek (sorry I'm a Star Wars geek had to put that one in!)
