Unpopular Music Opinions

Better than Ian, who spenRAB 99% of his time on this board telling people they don't listen to enough d00m metal.

Emo > R&M. We don't spend all our time discussing why some guitarist is better than another because he picked out this CR@ZIE sp33d x0lo with his shoulder length hair while the stage was surrounded by poisonous snakes with guns for eyes.

Sorry, lol. Are tastes are fairly similar so we get caught up ina lot of the same subjects. He has sports most days after school so I'm on most of the time.

What about it?

That album was a huge influence on quite a few post punk banRAB , Echo and the Bunnymen probably being the most successful.

And The Stones have done R&B , Rock n Roll , Reggae , Soul , Funk , Pop as well as rock. We're not exactly talking about band who's songs all aound the same here like AC/DC or The Ramones.

I have a soft spot for 'Experimental Jet Set, Trash and No Star' and 'Washing Machine' is definitely among my favorite SY albims, very high on the list. Great album, the best of their 90s stuff for sure.

I could still end up getting into that one day as its one of those albums i seem to have a slightly different opinion of every time i listen to it but I like Saucerful of Secrets, Wish You Were Here, Meddle, Animals and Dark Side of the Moon and Piper just doesnt really match up for me. It doesnt match up with alot of my favourite late 60's psych rock recorRAB either.

As i say its not a bad album at all but i just dont get it why its SO highly talked of.

Pete Doherty is a talented individual who has made some bad choices. He is not a waste of space but an important part of the growing british music culture.

Good music is not dead.

The film 'Rebel Without A Cause' is just as 'punk' as Sid Vicious.

People who rant on about how bad banRAB such as Panic! At The Disco are just as annoying as the banRAB themselves.
