Unpopular Music Opinions

Eminem was one of the greatest phycedelic pop banRAB of the 80's
Metallica was better before Yo-Yo Ma was kicked out of the band
Lady Gaga's country western material>pop material

Actually, I consider Pop to be their last really good / inventive / creative album... when All That You can't leave Behind came out, I foujnd it to be such a disappointment...

In defense of Oomph, I don't think there's any official doctrine you can lay out to scientifically prove one band's better than another.
Sleepy Jack, Urban, and Rainerd just constantly use their knowledge of language and musical production to seemingly outwit the other person.
Eh, for one reason or another I enjoy the banter.
You guys should host a talk show, or something.............
you make running in circles entertaining

If you mean better produced, sure. Otherwise, I can't agree. And I say that as someone who was a fan of MCR early on, as well as other 3rd wave emo banRAB in that vein. so I'm not completely biased. But they're really different styles and shouldn't be called by the same name, so there's really no point arguing. It's like arguing that grunge is better than post-hardcore.

Hmmmm... don't know any Maserati... but do very much love all my Mogwai albums in my collection, so perhaps, that might a good prospect to check out at some point...

Yes, most Slipknot fans are pretenious douches that don't give two ****s about music and just use their ****ty music tastes as a way to show off how gawth and "hardcore" they are, and they just keep growing in nurabers.

It's not the worst that's out, I just can't stand Kanye as a person. That shouldn't get in the way of the music, but it does. When I was a club DJ, 808's got a lot of play.

Me too, I actually enjoyed it far more than The Velvet Underground & Nico. I even did a reading of "The Gift" once at a coffee shop's open mic night that got a standing ovation.

Ok here's a few:

Hendrix is as much of a guitar wanker as Yngwie Malmsteen. A guitar wanker is a guitar wanker whether they have bluesy soul or not. I particularly dislike electric Blues guitarists like Stevie Ray Vaughn and Robert Cray.

In the 80s Megadeth was a better band than Metallica. Dave Mustaine was a better musician than all of Metallica corabined. After the 80s both banRAB sounded horrible.

Pink Floyd is as boring as any generic 70s rock band.

Rock and Roll itself is not very good. I don't like Elvis or any of the Sun RecorRAB stuff much. Early Beatles was forgettable. All of these white guys ripped off black R-n-B artists who made boring music in the first place.

In general, musicians were more skilled, more imaginative and more passionate 200 years ago than they are now.

Alternative country banRAB are neither alternative nor country. They make their money by blatantly ripping off their musical heroes in a way that they feel is clever and new but it is not.

Canadian indie rock banRAB that were popular in the 00s, in general, suck.

Same goes for Brooklyn.
