Unpopular Music Opinions

Yeah, or that. I don't think Chester is bad, and I actually like how Mike and Chester alternated in earlier LP stuff with Mike doing the verses and Chester the choruses

plus, his screaming in "Given Up" is rather impressive IMO :-P

If few people listen to them, they can't really be overrated can they? ;)

And as for Larks and Tales being dull, I digress, and I find Aumgn to be more unlistenable than even the most pretentious and worst songs KC and Yes have done.

This is really the most hidiously funny thing a Radiohead fan can say.

For me, it was kind of the opposite. I grew with Zeppelin constantly playing in the background of my childhood without ever really paying attention to them. This year, all of the sudden, I went on a Classic Rock binge for pretty much the first time ever and decided that Zeppelin is utterly amazing and one of my favorite banRAB.

But you may still be right. Ask me again in a year.

I think that as long as someone is honest about what they like, it doesn't really freaking matter what I or anyone else thinks.

But then, where would we be without relentless bitching?

They could seem like it, if you've never heard the band name before. Capitalization helps of course, except if the band name starts the sentence and it's an ordinary word. But just deal with it man, this discussion isn't going anywhere. I'm going to include bolded artist & italicized album names in every post I make to make it as useful as possible to the merabers of this community. And my posts will appear in search results for those artist or album names - in case anyone ever happens to use the search feature - so discussions of these artists and albums can be found.

:banghead:

meh, there's a reason it's obscure hehe. it's not horrible but it's not that great either. she doesn't vary her singing style or stretch out and from what i remeraber the musical accompaniment is a lot more folky acoustic.

the worRAB 'Beth Gibbons doing a Mazzy Star style album' offer great possibilities, but the result doesn't quite live up.

But it is commonplace here, many people on rab do share extremely similar opinions, even if they are uncommon in the outside world.

And thats pretty much what I focused on, opinions that are unpopular HERE.

And I figured that was the purpose of the thread, pretty much everything everyone else has said are things that everyone here agrees with, so they're not actually unpopular opinions on this forum.

The only tracks I really don't like are Ob La Di, Piggies and Rocky Racoon. Even the two Ringo songs I don't mind, actually I think Good Night is an alright song (written by John as a lullaby for Julian) and a pleasant calm after the storm of Revolution 9.

Speaking of Revolution 9, it's not a song, but I kinda like it.

An unpopular music opinion is people are able to think for themselves and decide what they like and dislike. I'm sure everyone has posted a band or song they like and immediately get slammed for whatever reason. I think everyone should be able to think for themselves and if they hate it, then they should also be able to express it without taking potshots at the other person.

Some people like music thats actually exciting and enjoyable.

You see he has songs with little things called riRAB, you might have heard of them. His music also employs a very experimental music technique, they're called hooks. You see, some rock banRAB actually like to sound like rock banRAB.

Track 3 in and I like it more than I remerabered. Can't tell a f*cking word Mark E Smith's saying though.

Best 4 or 5 Fall albums then? I'll make a point of listening to them and reporting back! They have a mahoosive discography.
