Unpopular Music Opinions

Because, he 'sings' in all of them, right? Look, suggest which studio album you consider their best and I'll give it a listen. I'm just saying, I don't like listening to the band because I don't like listening to the singer. Same as the people who hate Billy Corgan's voice, or Matt Bellamy's, or whatever...

They're overrated to me. And opinions are never incorrect.

Why is it ridiculous? Because everyone else praises their music as genius? I'm not everyone else.

LoL yes exactly!

The rhythm was pretty basic if not bland and Morello didn't play the guitar too well, he just ****ed around with pedals until it made a fairly neat sound. However the 3 seconRAB of okay sounding solo-ing due to the sound being drenched in pedals doesn't save the other 3 minutes of redundant, boring, and all around poorly written rap-rock hybrid crap.

Wow...I'll definitely have to check that out.

I always thought Avril would be better suited to doing songs with a little more rock edge...I don't really care for this pop stuff she does all that much. But that's just me!

Yes there probably are people who only like them because Zooey's part of it, but most people actually like them because of her songs. I don't find anything cringe-worthy about her songwriting, people are allowed to write positive music and sound like they're enjoying making the music.

Arcade Fire in general is seriously tough to swallow. Their early work is either too zealous and overbearing, and their new work is wallpaper music. Albeit, I kind of like Funeral, but I definitely agree with the overrated sentiment.

I fucking hate King Crimson, I know Oasis aren't great but their first 2 albums are at least fun rock & roll.

I spent my early teens listening to them, nostalgia affection. And King Crimson bore the f*cking life out of me.

I like a Wire a lot actually I'm just pointing out what I think their faults are and what they lack compared to other post punk banRAB.

yes! their music is mediocre. i don't understand why i should revere them because they are supposedly the progenitors of a ton of music i like.

That's a good point and I agree with you. I'm not like a Dream Theater fan or something; I think most of you realize this about me.

But damn they write some awesome riRAB too. Flea has tons of great bass lines and their guitarists were always funky and fairly melody-driven. There isn't much noodling on the guitar in their 80s output...
