Unpopular Music Opinions

Well, you're right from your side and I'm right from mine. To me, solos tend to kill songs. Give me a good vocal or a good riff than a lengthy solo anyday.

Once I tried to make a list of my five favorite guitar solos and I just couldn't do it. I got this far and couldn't think of anymore that I honestly liked:

-Sultans Of Swing (Dire Straits)
-Boredom (Buzz****s)
-Another Girl, Another Planet (The Only Ones)


Some people don't like keyboarRAB or horns or whatever...I'm just not a guitar guy.
 
Skill on your instrument doesn't necessarily equal good music being made from them; I've always found videos of Flea as an individual to be enthralling and whatnot, but when it comes to listening to a full RHCP album, I give up.
 
Compared to KID A, The BenRAB is a work of art. (Not sure this is an unpopular opinion but "KID A" was a waste of vital resources).

I also feel Madonna deserved to be inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of fame based on her impact to Pop music (I think this is an unpopular opinion as well since most people I know think it was blasphemy to have her name up there with Rock N Roll legenRAB.)
 
I am going to buy both Soup & Nico soon. Has anyone heard Nico?

My favorite parts in the S/T are the bass. Especially Tones of Home. One of my favorite basslines ever. In any case if Soup is THAT good. I need to get it SOON.
 
No it's not, if you don't like a band and everyone else thinks they're great, that's pretty good grounRAB for calling them overrated. That's essentially what the word means.
 
You're right, that does feel weird. Stop it. Band names are not random worRAB in a sentence. Especially on a music forum.

The least boring compared to what? Other generic metal banRAB? lol uhhhhhhh


And I swear to god if one more person cries about opinions I'm gonna shoot myself. What the fuck is the point of even debating things if everyone is gonna use that as an excuse for liking terrible music. If you can't say anything you can always go "well that's your opinion". Jump off a bridge. You don't even know why you like what you like.
