Unpopular Music Opinions

I do both...bold artists and italicize albums. For comprehension. I hate when people write about music in all lowercase assuming everyone knows the artists and albums they're talking about, and letting them make sense of it.

"Oh my god cats and cats and cats and on the might of princes and you will know us by the trail of dead i love them hehe source tags & codes really cool sweet drunk everyone too great banRAB."

I mean, what the shit is that? I'm just being considerate. ;) In literature, you italicise or underline (can't remeraber) the names of books, articles, magazines, or whatever, right? Same concept. It's to help identify it as a title (artist or album) and not just worRAB in the sentence.

Yeah good point. I was just talking abt them back in the day. Thats the stuff that cracks me up. I don't really know too much abt them beyond that, but your british so I'll trust you.

OK Computer is a good album but not close to the masterpeice people claim it to be. Kid A is however.

Bob Dylan and Jeff Mangum both have really good voices.

Pearl Jam are pretty bad other than Vs., I like that album a decent amount.

Mogwai are not boring at all.

Oh Comely is the worst song on ITAOTS.

Wait a minute, Urban didn't you once say that Once in a Lifetime changed your life?

That's like my least favorite song on the album too. And I don't really think it has THAT much world music elements, just the percussion and some of the vocal harmonies, like I Zirabra the world music stuff is subtle and it doesn't become a gimmick.

So tell me again why the first three albums are so great while somehow this is a steaming pile of puss spewing sh*t, give me a reason other than it being the most popular album.

I don't really think it's THAT much of a departure from Fear of Music, they took the best song from that album and expanded on some of the ideas explored in that. I don't think it's simply because of the world music influences that people consider it their best work, it simply has their strongest material, at least for a lot of people including me. Born Under Punches and The Great Curve are my top two Talking HeaRAB songs.

It IS a transition album though. They really DID get really world music-ish with later albums.

I know that, I can still respond to what other people say.

The BenRAB sounRAB really dated now, and I know it's not as good as their later stuff, but I am quite fond of that album since my dad used to play it to me all the time when I was a kid. It was my first taste of Radiohead.

Christina could probably sing Britney into a weeping fit, in all honesty. Although Britney's voice has a tender, malleable quality to it...I realize that I'm sailing a sunken ship here, but my love for her is blinding.

Neither women have demonstrated any aptitude outside of singing, though Britney has fooled around on the piano. She can at least play chopsticks.
