Unpopular Music Opinions

Never said they weren't talented, I strongly believe it's possible for a band to be very talented and still make bad music, as opposed to most people here who believe that if you make bad music, you cannot have talent, I see this as being durab, because talent can be objectified, music quality cannot.

I view musical quality with complete subjectivity (not that anyone can judge music quality objectively, but most people claim to), and god forbid I shouldn't have to repeat the phrase "in my opinion" all the damn time, though it may be necessary to do so, in order for there to be no confusion over weither or not I'm trying to pass these things off as actual fact, which is common among a lot of people.

Hmm yeah id agree that Animals might be the better suggestion for you Stunt. I know you arent the biggest prog fan so steering clear of Wish You Were Here makes sense. However, even coming from someone who is far from a Floyd fanboy i think its absolutely stunning.

Elvis was an overinflated pop star. He's influenced many great artists, but as an artist himself contributed well more to the negative hokey aspects of Rock N' Roll than the positive ones.

The main reason he even had success is that he was white, and less dorky than the other white guys at the time, and the only reason he endeared is because he did exactly as he was told.

Besides, If he wouldn't have had 99% of his hits already written for him, he would have went nowhere. I do appreciate the fact he indirectly helped break racial barriers, but he grew to be a very petty, and bitter man in his age. Much undeserving of the sheer level of attention and praise.

Haha, I've never heard that before but it's pretty funny considering that "no keyboarRAB were used in the recording of this album" message they put in the liner notes of their first album.

Galaxie is on Soup, and Soup is amazing! I didn't listen to the debut until I was well familiar with Soup, and I still don't really have much of an opinion on it, it's a take it or leave it album for me.

Dude I like what I like, I don't care about you or anyone else thinks about my taste stop judgeing me I listen to many types of music and there is no such thing as a scene by the way. Stop saying that I'm being stubborn when i'm not I like what I like and tring to defend myself that's what were suppose to do right?
