i did manage to de-brand it no problem but i didnt unlock it, i will check when the next one comes in.

in my opinion you must selecte the true DLL file " KP500_081002.dll "
because this file is not in directory and you must remove battery

I cant get passed a problem when I connect the KP501 where windows says "device not recognised" I installed the two USB drivers as per the tutorial

Any ideas?
